let's settle this down: using books during the event is NOT a waist. You just save the 50% resources. The fact that you use a book for 10 or 5 days doesn't mean a thing, it's just a number, you will always get the same upgrade done istantly. Only thing is: you want to prioritize builder potions, so don't buy books and buy potions. But i can't get why people are so focused on the numer 'uff i've saved 12 days let's go', and don't realize that they are just getting one building done. That's the key.

hammer jam gives you a 50% discount on everything but the boosts from the season pass give you another 20% which means that you have a 60% discount on everything. Hammer Jam is the time of the year where you don't go to work and just farm in CoC to max out your walls. Hammer Jam is the time of the year where you farm so much that your fingers start bleeding. Hammer Jam is the time of the year where you should be on Clash for at least 6 hours a day (I got 7 yesterday). And Hammer Jam is the time of the year where it is allowed (kinda) to go to the next TH if your walls are maxed. (I was a fresh TH12 when last hammer jam was here... I maxed my TH11 walls and went to TH12 and nearly maxed those walls too... now Im a TH13)

Wall rings are halved for a wall. So its worth it to use it but i'd recommend waiting until event is almost over just because you might not need it and upgrade it to max with just loots.
