@@ILLAILLS Yes.. it made my decision even harder because I wasn't expecting it. But I went with the Heipi Travel Tripod instead. It's very solid. A little more versatile. Checked a few more boxes for me overall.

There are cheaper alternatives and some of them are thought to be better designed than the PD.

ulanzi zero Y, i have both i love them but the ulanz goes higher and is just as sturdy
