I would love to have this amazing tripod on my next documentary project in the Atacama Desert. Tripods tend to be very uncomfortable, in every way, especially in extreme locations, but they are essential in productions. I would definitely really like to have this one.

I emailed Manfrotto and Miller 13 years ago to make a tripod with a clutch up top that would let gravity let the legs fall. But if they would have done it they wouldn't have nearly the amount of features SmallRig packed into this! Great Job!

That tripod is a dream come true! If I have to give a feedback is to make one version which is even smaller designed for maximum portability and lightweight setups. Wedding videographer often might need to cary 2 even 3 tripods and it would be great to have even more portable version with the sacrifice of only working for smaller cameras.

That is an awesome bit of kit. I struggled with Miller tripods, Satchler and a bunch of bent aluminium crap for the last 45 years. I'm not sure I would want to go back and do it all over again. But if I did I would want to do it with an orange handle. You go Gene and all the very best to you.

As someone who goes after hard to get to wildlife up mountains etc, I can see how the fast set up would be a great great benefit, I can think of the top of my head a couple situationes where I have missed or gotten very shaky shots that were once in a long time kind of situations. Really love the video and the attention to detail in the tripod's design. It’s clear that this isn’t just another influencer product-so well thought out and practical! But I’m honestly disappointed about the price difference. In the US, it’s $799.99, but here in Germany, it’s 927,90€. That’s a $225 difference, which makes it a tougher decision to purchase.
