This is great info! I just got a male mouse this week and he is very timid and skittish, so I've been trying to bond with him and get him to trust me. He's finally taking treats from my hand, so I'm really hopeful we'll be best friends soon 😌❤

hey! could you do a video on how to tame mice? i have three females, two come on my hand after i put it in their cage for some time, but as soon as i lift them up (just for one cm) they get stressed and climb down, and yours seem pretty chill!

These are good tips, I haven't tried them all. Mine also love plain Cheerios, sunflower seeds, and other nuts like walnuts or cashews.

Corn is a no-no for little mice but the others are spot on.

Thanks for the advice. But you might want to consider switching from wood chips to a paper base material that is 99.9 % dust-free for their bedding. The dust particles can sometimes result in them getting a respiratory infection. Also, Lilly & Clover are sooo...cute.

Hi! I really need some help; so my sisters friend gave me her mice to take care of for a week because I have rats, the cage is SO small, their food is terrible, and just overall bad living conditions. They are still very skittish babies, so the cage is fine for now. I will try to persuade her to buy a new one, but at the moment I am trying to re-make their food. All I have as a base is oxbow adult rat food... but idk if it’s to high in protein for them. I have the mix made, I just need a base!

I hope you don't mind Curtis!!! Just popping this here: Is this space big enough for a dwarf hamster to live in? (L) 72 x (W) 46 x (H) 32.5 cm
@CGpets1014 жыл бұрын
Yes! If all of the measurements were given in centimeters, that would be a lovely cage for any hamster!

katie x i know I’m not him but I looked it up and yes it is above the bare minimum too. Idk where you live but in North America the bare minimum is 450 in or about 1143 cm . Hope that helped

Hi Curtis. This doesn't relate to mice food but do you recommend freezing bedding before putting in the cage and where do you purchase good bedding?
@CGpets1014 жыл бұрын
I do not personally do not freeze my bedding before use. I purchase mostly all of my bedding from Petco, although Walmart also has some safe Aspen adn paper based beddings as well! :) Did that answer your question?

Is yogurt a safe food for mice as a treat?
@emmylynperkeroid78434 жыл бұрын
with the mealworms if you struggle keeping them alive for a long period of time you can actually put them in the fridge! they wont progress in their life stages and when you need some you just take some out and they're ready for feeding!
@emmylynperkeroid78434 жыл бұрын
I had a batch of mealworms for like 7 months in the fridge and they were perfectly healthy
