I have this same mold & I love it. I painted all the features with chameleon powders & other micas then poured the black. I also did some in white. Loved them.

I have this mold. I made it up for my SIL. It was the first time I poured resin. I was SO blessed that it came out beautifully. I used red & black pigmented resin in a swirl pattern for the sides of the box & a rose tattoo in clear resin in the bottom for the tray part. Then a combination of UV resin, pigment paste, glitter & mica powders to color the top. LOL For fun I gave the face a gold tooth with the eyes I used a spider & scorpion tattoo! Then finished the top with a couple of layers of clear resin. And you are right the lid fits the box like a dream. Thank you 😊

Sugar skulls traditionally have waaayyyy more colour, it would have been cool if you'd used loads of the glow in the dark pigments in the details then backed it with a black instead of the other way around. Those pigments though are soooo potent, I love!!

I've search how to clean the needle tips but got very unuseful results. Is there a video explaining this process or can someone tell me how/when to clean that needle tip after using it with resin?

I love this mould, I bought mine from AliExpress. I painted different coloured mica powder in all the crevices of the skull and used a marble gold liquid and black resin in the base. I will have to get some glow powders, it looks amazing 🤩

I just used the same mold! I painted the skull with chameleon mica powder and filled it in with black resin. But I love your glow in the dark too so....looks like I'm doing another one! And I agree with you, the mold is sturdy, the lid fits perfect, and there is plenty of room to store your treasures in. Love it! P.S. Love your aprons and I would be happy with any one of them! I don't have a cricket, but by watching you...I will know how to use it if I get one for Christmas.

Squeeze bottle brilliant. I tried to use mica powder to do the details and like you said it is so small that it never comes out very neat. I had resorted to painting the raised parts after it cured. Not ideal but sharper lines. The squeeze will come in very handy.
