Wait, this guy was ripped off. The box clearly shows a Voice Search Microphone button, but when he pulled it out of the box it did NOT have a mic button, just the internet button. I find this to be a very sketchy practice to put the wrong unit into the box. The one with the Internet button is actually the T3, and the one with the Mic button is the MX3-M or MX3-Mic, which is the model that was supposed to be in this box.

I have purchased many of these remotes over the years. Lost count of how many I have. The original is Aerb remote but the the manufacturer sellers to many sellers under different names. You can find on amazon. Same shit, different seller. They have different models. Some have mic, some don't. Different colors. Newer model has backlit. On all of them you can program the 4 colored buttons and the power button (by default the power button will shut off the unit your're controllig (eg: PC, TV, DVD player, etc). But maybe you are controlling the PC but want power button to shut off TV instead. Problem is there is a defect in the backlit unit. When you program a new function, the old one doesn't get erased. So now, pressing power button shuts off TV AND computer each time. Also, the reason I have purchased so many of these remotes over the years is because all of them have a major physical defect. There is a weakness on the lower right hand side near battery compartment. Eventually, it will weaken and crack. I'm careful with remotes. But any slight handling, bump or anything and the very fragile piece of poor quality plastic chips. Big deal right? Well that small part is like the exhaust pipe of the the death star. It chips and then the whole thing falls apart. I can't get a remote to last me more than 3 -4 months in for any of my 3 tv's. Other than that, remote is great but I think I need to move on to another remote.

I must be missing something because I'm stuck at the Bluetooth pairing... I got the usb dongle connected to my smartv, and I press and hold the OK and RETURN button together for 3 seconds but nothing happen. Why does it only learn 4 buttons!? What are the volume up and down buttons for if I can't program them to my tv/soundbar volume buttons? Why isn't there a remote like Logitech that is truly universal and has a keyboard and freaking backlit LEDs!?

Most devices like android or computers, have internal volume, those buttons control that. There is a more universal controller called sofa baton, which you can basically customise everything on it with an app.

I've been looking into these universal USB type remotes lately, and the thing that they all seem to have in common is that they all require the original remote to program them. It should be easy enough to buy an OE remote though. I have an older (at least by current standards, anyway) five year old Samsung Smart TV that the remote crapped out on last month. Within five minutes of starting my search I had already ordered and paid for an original remote, and three days later, it was in my mailbox. If this type of remote is what you're looking for, then you'll need to order two remotes; an original one, and another as an upgrade for it. If you're just looking for a universal remote because it's a little cheaper and easier to get than the original, then you'll probably need to get one of those kinds that have been around for many years that doesn't have a USB dongle, where all you have to do is put it in setup mode and enter a code for your brand. But everything I've found out about these kinds of remotes days that they don't have a code that you can enter into it, and they're completely programmed one button at a time by picking up an IR signal from an existing remote. Sorry, and I hope this info has been helpful.

I use this mouse with my windows computer, as I have my computer hooked up to my tv in my room. When I push the home button on the front for some reason it opens up my default web browser to a page my malware protecton blocks. The page is a trovi webpage, which as far as I am aware it is bloatware/spyware/adware that no one really wants on their computer. Do you have this issue? Also If you know how to fix it, besides not pushing the button that would be very much appreciated. You may want to add that to your review if you experience it as well. Other than that the mouse works pretty well for me, but the intention of installing adware on my computer is usually a deal breaker, and it may be for other people who watch your channel.

interference, i got around it by using a short 50cm usb extension cable and putting the dongle on the end further away from the tv box.

The reviewer says that every button can be programmed. I have this remote and only 5 keys are programmable. These are the power red button, plus the 4 x colour buttons on the bottom of the remote. The other buttons may or may not work with you tv. Eg some keys work for me and other keys do absolutely nothing and cannot be programmed to do anything. Also, voice does not work for me. After a bit of research aI found out that there are two versions of the same remote. One version has a voice key, and the other version has a Internet key in place of the voice which will open the default browser. If anyone else has had any luck with voice please reply as I’d be very interested in getting the remote to work better.

I think both are right and that there are most likely more versions than just two. I want one to re-program most keys on front. doesn't work for me. I press and hold tv, red light flashes fast, let go of tv button, red light stays on then flashes slow. I hold down the power button of the old remote and the red light then flashes slightly faster. I then press then button I want to program on the remote, and then press tv again, and then red light just keeps flashing. Any ideas?

I can clearly hear clicking sounds when you press the remote buttons. I really hate such remotes. It seems a good remote, but the clicking sounds are annoying. Why in the hell don't they just make a remote control with silent keys? You know, like most of the tv remotes. I've noticed most of the Chinese remotes that come with android boxes have those annoying clicking sounds when the buttons are pressed. I am wondering why they do that?

For the google searching, but is fake I think (no one here knows how to make the microphone active). One more trick from China hahaha.

Bought this device based on your recommendation and sad to say, it’s a joke. The device does not function well with Android 11 TV box. The cursor movement is jumpy and you have to move your arm around in various gyrations to get the cursor to cover the whole screen. Will not turn on and off the box the dongle is in. You focus on programming, but not how well the device functions. Total waste of money! 😢Very cheap plastic. Fell on the floor once from 2 feet and shattered the side. Crazy glued it, but will now place it in the rubbish. Don’t waste your money or time on this one.
