Presumed Innocent was probably my number one series of 2024. But The Penguin, Cross, and Dark Matter were also terrific new series as well. Most slept on show this year was Manhunt.

X-Men 97' was genuinely was so so amazing, wasn't a childhood fan of the original series, but it was good too & this it to whole another level with taking same animation to new standards with that storyline & those moments, PLEASE NEED THIS STUFF IN MCU AFTER SECRET WARS

I would definitely recommend Slow Horses. Series 1 takes a few episodes to get going but after that it is fantastic episode after fantastic episode. Great characters and very funny! I haven’t watched a lots of TV this year but my top list includes X-Men 97, House of the Dragon, Slow Horses, Only Murders in the Building and some random U.K. tv series that you’ve probably not seen/heard of, for example the Death in Paradise series

My favorite shows that I’ve seen: • Shogun (#1 BABY!) • Shrinking S2 • X-Men 97 • The Penguin • Mr. and Mrs Smith • Fallout • Ted Most Surprising: • Agatha All Along (A show that not a lot of people ask for and ended up being one of Marvel’s better shows) • Skeleton Crew (Been enjoying this so far) • Fight Night (Very good miniseries on Peacock and Kevin Hart is surprisingly good in it) Most Disappointing: • The Boys Season 4 (Major mixed bag) • The Bear Season 3 (Still good, but compared to the previous 2, just not as strong) • The Acolyte (Don’t need to explain…)

For the next Shogun season, they will be focusing on the battle of Sekigahara. I wonder if they will end the series there or if they will end it with Siege of Osaka. If they do end up continuing till Siege of Osaka, we will then be seeing one of the most heroic figures of Sengoku era entering this series

You will appreciate the writing and performances, especially in Season 2. In fact, the second season is right up your alley. I promise!

Baby Reindeer was a hard watch, but it was certainly an important one. Kudos to Richard Gadd, who reenacted his harrowing stalking experience, as well as his brutal sexual assault. I hope that there were therapists on that set.

Dandadan was my favorite surprise of the year. The humor was right up my alley in the same way Smiling Friends seems to be up Austin's. Though it also continues the pattern of all these shows I'm getting invested in that seem to cut off their seasons as if they got split in half for fiscal reasons. Perhaps folks binging multiple seasons in the future will have a better time dealing with these abrupt delays in storytelling haha

I saw over 40 shows in 2024. My top 10 favorite of the year would have to be: 10. Arcane Season 2 - 9/10, wasn’t huge on Arcane at first, but I’ve come around on it since and Season 2 was a great finale 9. My Hero Academia Season 7 - 9/10, Bones exceeded my expectations with this season. They did justice to many moments in this home stretch segment of the story. 8. Blue Box - 9/10, a delightful romance series that I’ve been obsessed with since October 7. The Penguin - 9/10, an excellent character study all around, so hyped for Batman Part II 6. Frieren: Beyond Journeys End Cour 2 - 9/10 5. Shogun - 9/10, easily one of the best seasons of television I’ve ever watched 4. Delicious in Dungeon - 9/10, Studio Trigger blew me away with this, hilarious series with some great worldbuilding and a really fun cast! 3. DanDaDan - 9/10, been caught up with the manga for over a year, and have it in my favorite mangas, I now have the anime too among my favorites. Science Saru has done an unbelievable job adapting this series. 2. X-Men 97 - 9.5/10, as an X-Men fanboy, this couldn’t have made me any more satisfied 1. Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Cour 3 - 10/10, Pierrot Films and Kubo have entirely outdone themselves, far surpassing what was already my favorite arc in the Bleach manga.

I missed many many shows (dark matter, jackal, smiths, but from the ones I saw from those top 10 would be Shōgun Invincible S2 Arcane S2 (I mean a 3 way tie for these please even tho Arcane was perfect until the finale but that fumbled it 5-10% still top tier) Boys S4 X-Men 97 Fallout Baby Reindeer Penguin The Bear S3 (not as great as first 2 seasons still loved it a lot 8.2/10) Creature Commandos

I don't know if it's really your genre, but I would love you to check out Heartstopper. It's a teen romance, coming of age, LGBTQ series. There are 3 seasons, but the episodes are short and only 8 per season. You could binge it all in one weekend easily. A lot of people skip over it because of the descriptions above, but those who do check it out - even if they think it's not for them. Most times end up falling in love with the series just because it's put together so well. And it's a feel-good show (despite having some heavy topics). You really just fall in love with these kids, the characters in the show and want to protect them at all costs.

I feel like season 2 of HotD was more of a set up for the next season. I liked it a lot, but I understand people's issues. However, when thinking about what's to come, it's great! I agree with The Bear and The Boys. Both most recent seasons fell flat for me. I couldn't even finish The Boys because it was all the same. I got bored with it. I'll try this last season, but I'm not expecting much. I'd probably put Shogun at the top, then everything Taylor Sheridan does.

Shogun was pretty but ultimately boring. Glad the actors got some recognition tho. House of dragons was ok but mostly setup. Boyz and Penguin was my highlights and I catched up on Reacher and love that show. Fallout was fun but highly forgettable. X-men 97 started off so well but then after like 4-5 ep it fell off so hard. Me and my friend had fun with smiling friends even tho nothing makes sense lol. Last of us & Stranger Things alongside with reacher s3 is the things I'm looking forward too in 2025 for shows. I'm more of a movie guy.
