Hi from Qld. I don't backpack and only camp rarely BUT, I do have a large range of pantry staples from Camper's Pantry in my emergency kit. I have found that the quality over the last couple of years has only improved. The only thing I really have to keep replacing constantly is the cheese. Because it is sooo amazing that I never wait for an emergency to scoff it. LOL.

Hahaha so good. Yeah it’s pretty great hey. I sometimes eat them for work lunch. But yeah I agree they are only getting better and better. I’ve been impressed with the passion they show for REAL food without all the bs preservatives and toxic colouring that some brands use

I bought some Campers Pantry rice pudding a few years ago because the nutrional information superficially looked great. However, upon further inspection it claimed 76g of carbohydrate per serving. Which is challenging as the net weight was only 50g. I reached out to their customer service by email and never received a response. I've been pretty skeptical of them ever since. It did taste pretty good though.

Oh weird. Not to sure what was going on there but in having a chat to them recently I’ve been really impressed with their passion for healthy food and to make their products better and better. I’ve only been eating them for about a year and love their dinners.

Campers pantry is a step above other freeze dried meals, but their packaging needs an upgrade 😅 very fussy and a bit annoying compared to others

Yeah I love their food too. At first I thought the same re packaging but I think i prefer it now. I always feel weird about eating out of plastic pouches that have hot water thrown in to them. But the Campers Pantry bowl feels less plastic and I worry less about plastic leaching into my food. I also find their meals take up less space in my pack as there is less air trapped in their packaging. But yeah sometimes you want the most simple way to put calories in your body at the end of a long day.
