Hi, I just want to say, great channel and thanks for the dedication to cleaning equipment reviews! I have a small home machine shop with painted floors. I'd like to semi-frequently clean the floors. Right now I sweep every couple days and mop once a month or so. Sweeping isn't always perfect, so I'm concerned about sucking up chips here and there with an upright autoscrubber. Would that be a problem? Say, a couple dozen 1/4" long steel or aluminum chips that may get missed by the broom. Would that cause any potential damage to the machine? Would it pick them up?

Hi there! Thanks for watching! We are so glad you found this video useful. You can use an automatic floor scrubber for this application; however, you must be diligent and pick up all metal particles before you use the floor scrubber. Steel and aluminum chips would be heavier than normal dirt and they may not suck up properly. It could also damage the squeegee leading to poor water pickup. The first 2 are obviously manufactured in the same shop but badged with different branding.

If you were to start with fresh sealed or unsealed floor a micro scrubber combined deionized, electrolyzed or tap water Would keep it looking new, compared to bucket, cleaner, mop method.

Good Morning, I could really use some advice. I am looking at taking on a small college with a common area and several small bedrooms, all VCT. I want to know if I could use a MA10 or similar machine to strip the floors? I was thinking that I could apply wet/stripper solution and mop it around good with alot of agitation and use the MA 10 to scrub and wet vac. Since the areas are small and many are on the 2nd floor, I want something that is portable and could be handled by one person. Would this idea work?

Hi Monica! Unfortunately, this would not work. The scrubber would be ruined by the excess solution during pickup. We suggest a Doodlescrub or comparable subber with stripping pad and a good wet vacuum for solution removal. For more help, reach out to us here: www.ebpsupply.com/contact

Hello! Does a soiled floor need to be vacuumed/swept first? I have a query office to clean and there is moderate soil accumulation on floors every day. I am trying to find a machine to clean floors in one go.

Hi, Thank you so much for viewing our content. Short answer, you will have to sweep/vacuum before using any autoscrubber. In essence, if you do not take this step, you're going to be creating 'mud' with the excess dirt/debris on the surface and this poses a much greater challenge to remove. That being said, there are plenty of time/step saving products you may be able to use like floor pads which can clean & shine the floor at the same time, saving at least one additional step.

Could you theoretically uses on hardwood floors for a home? Obviously you could but my question would be what is damage them due to the RPM / speed

Hi Eric, Thank you for watching our video and reaching out. These Upright Autoscrubbers are perfectly fine on hardwood floors "if the poly is in good shape". Bare wood could be damaged however, by even the little amount of RPM used by upright scrubbers. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

so is there any one that you like above the rest? Will these clean tile and grout pretty good too or are these just meant to replace a better method of mop and bucket, i have a small maid service and want a product that will make my maids life a little easier instead of mop and bucket but at same time might wow my customers if there tiles look shinier and cleaner

Hi - thank you for watching our content. The ones we show we feel are the best. Depending on the features you need (wand , adjustable, etc) is how you would determine what is best for you - but we completely back any of these machines we show.
