I want a dynamic mic now lol. The difference between both mics raw is pretty noticeable. the fact that this is USB and sounds that good is totally up my alley. Bahhhhhh I don't NEED it but WANT it lol

Yeah it's crazy what some EQ/processing can get out of some mics, and this one sounded nearly as good as my EQ'd one without any adjustments. Based on that alone, it has alot of potential with some added EQ and tuning!

I'm a KZbin content creator, Voice Actor, and also aspiring to be a Broadcaster in Sri Lanka. This microphone sounds so crisp and I would definitely love to have one in my setup in order to get better audio quality, a crisp-sounding voice, and add more value to my content. Plus, this is handy for voice acting, podcasting, and even for broadcasting. My dream is to be a broadcaster AKA Radio Presenter and this will definitely help me to develop my skills to be one. Just a heads up you can unthread the pop filter and underneath is a metal protector cage that also unthreads to get down to the capsule. This is the best usb mic for streaming in a room that has a fan or slightly louder than preferred ac in my opinion.

Thanks! When seated at my PC setup, I'm mainly using my Avermedia Mic 330 plugged into the Avermedia Nexus, and EQ applied via the Nexus's software.

This looks like it would be perfect however we have a situation we have faced for a long time now, wife and i stream side by side, about 5 feet away from each other, how well is this for eliminating sound further aways from the mics, reducing or removing echoing from each other?

I did exactly that, 2 people in one 9x10' room for a 12hr stream a while back. Both computers had dynamic mics (one used this specific one from the video, the other was my Avermedia Mic 330). In combination with setting up a noise gate in OBS (or using push to talk in discord, or if using voice activation: turning up the voice activation slider), we had very little echo that way. dynamics do a better job at that, but you can always use nvidia broadcast to eliminate the sounds completely

K669b is a condenser microphone, this one is a dynamic. Ive tested a k669b on the channel too, you can compare my voice directly on both with both videos

With some EQ sure, but EQing a USB mic can be a pain. If you only need the EQ for streams, then using VSTs like Reaplugs in OBS can accomplish that. If you need the mic EQd for discord or zoom, then you'll need to learn how use Voicemeeter Banana and it's EQ functionality.

Would you pick this over the Wave 3? This one seems to be pretty good quality and the price (especially w/ fifine's coupons) makes it super appealing; but I've heard a lot of people fawn over the Wave 3. Only concerns/things holding me back from the k658 I've really got on this are worries about it picking me up well bc I'd probably need to have it to the side of my face (due to using face tracking), and that the Wave 3 has a slightly warmer sound to it.

If you need the submixes and benefits of the Wave Link software, then the Wave is the better choice. If you're ONLY considering the microphone, both sound great and its hard to go wrong. The Wave 1 just got a price drop as well so there's a cheaper way into the Wave series now too. I have a video going over the Wave as well if you wanted to check it out. I go over the software and have more thoughts on its value proposition and all that.

Hi Nyanako, it depends on your main concern about the microphone. But not the one that you mentioned, because Wave 3 is the one that you should worry about picking up too much sound. For one simple reason, it's the condenser mic while the K658 is a dynamic microphone. If your main application is streaming, both mics are good at it. But if you want less background sound, then the K658 does a better job. Wave 3 is no reach in that part even with the software adjustment. But if you want a more balanced sounding for streaming, Wave 3 is one of the best choices. One more thing to note is that the included software of Wave 3 that mixes 5 channels is the biggest selling point. But if you want a simple budget streaming setup, the K658 is better suited for the job. Because with the code FIFINEK658, you can get one from our website for $83.99 lol.

This video was had mostly unprocessed audio. All I do in editing is adjust gain levels to not blow anyone's ears out. The Avermedia Mic I have that I'm on in OBS in this video has EQ adjustments on treble, mids, and bass and that's it.

I have reviewed both on this channel, go listen to how both sound and decide for yourself. Since one is a condenser mic and one is a dynamic, you have to pick the one based on your specific needs. The fifine had no additional software used.

The button isn't rgb though? But its just too big eh? At least its easier to make finer adjustment at that size. I think the aesthetic is fine aside from that espeically if you turn off the RGB. Its modeled after the SM7B pretty much which is not a gamer mic at all (just used by tons of em if they stream)
