I came up with this idea: first thing, I script videos, 2nd I record an audio file with the exact same tone I want to say in the video, and then (3rd) I re-record a video and audio while listening to what I call the 'audio prompter' file, so I can reduce my time to record, and the file sizes as well... But still, it doesn't replace a good teleprompter, so I will take this one. Great video man!

Ok thanks for the additional information. I know that the Parrot does have an option for an action camera, but it is much more expensive. But okay, I use the Canon RP for the most part so no problem. I really need a teleprompter, it will save me a lot of time. I work a lot in the city where there are a lot of distractions. I will have to find an adapter so that the 16 mm lens has a diameter of 43 mm. Thank you and have a nice evening.

Hey, I have watched and listened with great attention to your information about the Pronstoor-Mini Prompter. I first thought about buying a Parrot, but my budget is too small to purchase this one. I will buy a telepromter because I always forget my texts and have to start over ten times. I also have plans to record my Dutch vlogs in English to reach more viewers, because I can't do it with subtitles alone. Some more questions. Is the Pronstoor the same as the OPENCLOUD? Can this Pronstoor also be used with an action camera such as DJI Osmo Action? And what is it like working with the telepromter in the open air with sunlight, for example, is the text not visible in the video? Thank you for the nice and clear explanation. Hi Eddy. Thanks for watching. To answer some of your questions, the Pronstoor comes only with mounts for attaching a regular camera (attached to the lens thread) and a smartphone. To make an action camera work you might have to DIY your own mount. The teleprompter will generally work in open air and sunlight since its very design has a kind of built-in sun hood. Looks like its an Android-only app. For iPhone the Teleprompter - Autocue Video Prompter Pro app by MK App Solutions is highly rated (4.5) which has the mirroring function.

Yes this should work. As long as the lens has filter threads, the included ring adaptors will work.

Very useful review, thanks! One question, does having this extra piece of angled glass in front of the lens affect the video quality at all? I’ve heard on cheaper teleprompters sometimes you can even faintly see the text on the screen when you play the video back, have you found that with this teleprompter at all?

With this prompter, I did not find any such problems at all. No glare or smudges from having an additional glass, and no faint text appearing at all.

Yes, was able to try it in broad daylight, since it does have a kind of sun hood. 👍

Can you modify the speed with the remote control on this particular model?

I found that with this particular remote the joystick allows you to jog/scroll back and forth but not allow you to control the overall scrolling speed. That would be done through the app/phone, which isn't as inconvenient as it sounds since you just have to reach over to your phone and the speed controls are already there soon as you touch the screen.

Probably a very very small one, since this one is mainly designed for smartphones.

Can you use this with a webcam?

It would be tricky to mount a webcam, unless you do something DIY. As it is, this teleprompter supports DSLR/mirrorless-type cameras and smartphones.

@@RJBaculo I bought the teleprompter hoping to use it with my vlog camera, Sony zv1f. none of the attachments worked with it. So, for now I can only use the teleprompter with my iPhone, and because of that I will need a second phone for the teleprompter. I might return it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Lulucianavasconcelos yes unfortunately the zv1f doesnt have a filter thread on the lens to be able to attach the teleprompter mount. Returning it would probably be the best option.

I got it working with my iPhone 14 Pro. You just gotta line up the hole/slot with the camera/lens on your iPhone that you'll use (i assume the regular main camera)
