Wraith is great for beginners. On Xbox it's free on gamepass and you get like 6 killers for free, but idk about PS. As far as paid killers, you can pay like $5 per killer, it's pretty cheap, so you'll kind of figure who fits your playstyle. As for me, Knight and Spirit.

Dude, Funniest Plague game ever! I followed your teachings, One survivor gets a little bit of puke and gets hooked, another gets a taste grass of while dropped, and I'm just chilling, waiting for a good Samaritan to unhook or save the downed guy. This one dude that tried to save DCs in a rage, probably muttering about biohazard violations. Finally down the last guy, and guess what? He's right next to a pig! I point at it like 'Dude, free lunch!' and this guy just stares at the pig, then starts nomming away moving his head sideways. I was laughing so hard I almost was going to give him hatch!

Enduring+Hubris with boot of speed+ring of telekesis is his best build. You basically lunge into pallets, get stunned . Use mage hand, lift the pallet, instant down. The other two perks don't matter too much. Pain res +Surge is decent game-delay for him. He is m1 killer so surge can save time with kicks +regression and Pain res is still decent.
