I disagree with the Romeo and Juliet one, although that wasn't the best battle tbh. Shaka Zulu's verses were better. Tolkiens verse was 🔥, but I just about prefer Martins first verse. Darwin last line was absolute fucking destruction, but Ash's last verse overall was better imo. Same thing with Tony Hawks first verse. And Musk's first verse (although the nyet work bar was my fav). At least we can agree that Che Guevaras 2nd verse was better, doesn't seem to be the most popular opinion. And, come on, can't beat pennywise's 2nd and 3rd verses! Even the Jokers 1st verse was his best one. I also think Mansa Musa'a 1st verse was his better. Whatta you guys think?

I agree with pretty much all of them, except: - Houdini verse 1 (unless you came to watch the sauce and not the disses, which is absolutely fine) - Frederick the Great (no disses at all beside a "troll face" insult, plus Alexander had more intensity and a better flow) - Joker verse 2 (arguably the worst verse in the battle, since it drops the intense atmosphere of Pennywise verse 1, then repeats two "you lost to ..." jokes, which are repetitive since they had already been used twice in the battle, plus Joker also disses his own authors, which is nonsense since he spends his next verse dissing Pennywise's authors) And I probably preferred the first verses in Romeo & Juliet vs Bonney & Clyde, even if the theatrical verse rendered dopely... or also Irwin's final verse, which was more about disses than just wordplay. A couple ones here and there, but only small disagreements: beside the three I mentioned first, I might have a very similar list to yours. :)

And the flow is good but not crazy enough to compensate for text quality and raise the verse into the top tiers. I've asked countless times to people who worship FTG's verse, and they always justify it by personal feelings (which I don't comprehend), but funnily they can never explain objectively why they find that verse great.
