So , as i read the line best tiger man Version i had one Version in my mind .. for years . I often asked me if other elvis Fans think the same about my best like tiger man Version. Now i started your Video and Tadaaaaa 😀 It is the Version i think for years it is the best mystery train , tiger man Version he ever made ( still there are a lot other great versions from elvis ) . This stands out . Not only that , the Show is one of the greatest Shows from 1971 , not only that , one of the greatest Shows in 8 years 69 -77 . The closing show february 1971 . Bridge from the same show is so great . Polk salad , something , i Gott a woman , blue suede shoes and so on from this great show . It is a goid feeling that you choose this tiger man as the best Version. You clearly an Elvis Fan with know how 👍

Trivia: Reason Elvis picked this song because his karate spirit was the Tiger. His Karate name was "Tiger Man". Plus it broke away from the "Teddy Bear" image from the 60s.

This is the best Elvis was period!1972 his voice was at his peak for all his songs up to that point and he was doing the older songs fast and strong and when burning love came out it proved that he could take a new song and take it to the top #1 cash box magazine ! But I also love the period of later 1976 and through 1977 when his voice again seemed to change and got deeper but Operatic the notes he was hitting was unbelievable ! Hurt how great thou art etc he is the king of music period !

For me the best performance of this medley is the superb and arguably best show he ever did the MS from August 12 1970! Whilst the version on TTWII is heavily edited the entire performance is available to view on KZbin and it is outstanding! The reason I find it so brilliant is that it came from my favourite concert and he was on fire, he looked amazing he knew he was on top form, flirted and smiled with the ladies at the front! This version is also awesome and he sounds like he was singing through gritted teeth and with passion but without footage from the actual performance cannot say this is better! This is ofcourse only my opinion and enjoy these debates

Yeah, she loved herself some Frankie Lyman, dancing til the early morning hours at a New York club with him while still with Elvis. Elvis had sent Jerry Schilling with Priscilla on her trip hoping they would have an affair. I guess so Elvis could divorce her, but she ended up dancing with Frankie.
