When I listen to Dreamcatcher songs... that includes all the intros. I never skip them. One of my favorites is "Chaotical X"

My Toys is the best for me. The current one, 7' Dreamcatcher, is also good. But when so few people were listening to their music and I was there, the memory always added up to the music.

DC don't make a bad song. Also you've gotta deff check out them live, they are incredible. Particularly the justice comeback with siyeon, main vocal, being on hiatus and the girls covering her parts amazingly, Sua, main dancer taking her end notes and still dancing? Wow. Handong, belting in the chorus in her place. Wow. I hope siyeon is doing well, can't wait for the next comeback.

Dreamcatcher’s main thing is rock infused kpop with strong vocal presence, which appears live. SuA (main dancer) has even been quoted as saying “You can't be like you can't sing just because you're the main dancer. Cuz before that, you're a singer”

Thanks for the video. Glad to see an album reaction as not a lot of reactors do that. Also it's nice to see that you're being honest about ballads. I wonder how you'll feel about the rest of their discography as there's definitely more variety in it than just rock. There's also a lot more ballads as well. I'm actually one that enjoys their ballads, but a lot of other fans do not enjoy them.

Tonal shifts within a song are a core part of Dreamcatcher Genre along with the top shelf vocals. They fuse rock or metal sounds with whatever other genres they feel like. BEcause has about eight distinct genres in it but it all connects because of their style. You discovered on your own the First Law of Dreamcatcher - it's all of them. It hardly matters what era you check out next because whatever it is... Dreamcatcher gonna Dreamcatcher. At the very beginning, Chase Me and Good Night go together. Maison brought their first music show wins and it has an absolutely wicked Dami flow. Boca is the epitome of Dreamcatcher genre, but the MV is missing member Handong 😢, still totally worth checking out I just never want to leave out Handong (the unique thing she does which I call Handong Supremacy is also essential to Dreamcatcher genre overall).

When it comes to rock in kpop, there are only 2 groups that always pop-up in my mind, it's Dreamcatcher and Xdinary Heroes. I think I will recommend [Apocalypse: From us] album for Dreamcatcher. Also, if you happen to read this comment, I hope you will react to Xdinary Heroes - Love and Fear. If you like rock and kpop, you'll definitely gonna like them, guarantee 💯.

The organization of Dreamcatcher’s albums is very well done on the Korean Namuwiki. It’s also easy to understand. Using a translator, there are no major issues. Besides the album list, there is a wide variety of detailed information, even close to TMI. I will post the site link in the comments of the latest community board post. dreamcatcher \:D/ yes check out more of their mini-albums. most only have 4 songs and a short intro so shouldn't be a long listen. keep in mind dreamcatcher makes 'special clips'(or dance videos) for many of their b-sides so use those instead of lyric videos when available. oh yeah, all albums have a ballad-like closer 😅 so happy days for you lol. don't worry, they always switch it up so their ballads run across all genres. the 2 rings performance you saw didn't have siyeon, their main vocalist. she's taking during comeback performances this time around. the villians and virtuous mini-albums are part of the VS series and I think it's only 2 parts. all their series have a theme and the VS is addressing greed/excess/vanity in today's society.

Bruh everyone has their own preference so it's ok to not like some songs/genre. But i hope this doesn't stop you from listening to their albums though because some of their bsides definitely has the rock elements.. I would really recommend you to start listening from their debut ✨

As a fan, OOTD was kind of a miss for me, especially when it comes to the chorus👀 I really love rock sounds and OOTD is a bit lack of that as a title track. But in the same album, I feel like you would enjoy“Rising” a lot. I also recommend you to check out [Apocalypse: From Us] album, “Demian” and “Propose” are rocky.

Same! OOTD is their first title track that honestly saying, I'm not a fond of it. And I dislike the part where Dami was cursing. That kinda ruin it. 🙂 Dreamcatcher is already cool enough so they don't have to put that part just to make it seems cooler... Bur other tracks are bop especially Rising 🙌🏻

@@KyleS3m3noff I love the point of OOTD and they fully nailed that concept. Brilliant little things like how Dami sings about being drunk every day, when most InSomnias knows that she never drinks alcohol. It achieves its purpose spectacularly. The only thing that could've made it better would be if it had won one of the shows and the members would've gone "What, you took this song seriously?!" But I'm lucky that it wasn't my first encounter with Dreamcatcher. BEcause if it had been I probably never would've given them another chance. I honestly hope no one had it as their first Dreamcatcher experience, because the ones who took it at face value and enjoyed it will be disappointed that they'll never get anything like that again, and will probably move on to other groups that represent that better.
