Phantom liberty was a great Expansion. Wish they would make more. Let's hope they release those mod tools and see what the community can make to tide us over until the next hopefully masterpiece. God damn I adore this game.

Hated this ending. Reed gets stuck in a desk job, Johnny is destroyed, Song Mi busted anyway, and you lose everything.

There is no good endings, that's the whole point of cyberpunk as such. In a weird way, I love this game for that.

​@@StanFlesher I think you can argue that busting into the Arasaka tower is the best one. Either going with the Nomads, or going solo, and then keeping the body. To me, V becoming a legend (either in the Star or Sun ending) is the canon end result. You killed Adam Smashed, avenged Johnny (and Rebecca/David if you're an Edgerunners fan), achieved your goals of becoming the best of the best in Night City and lived to tell about it. Even if it ends up costing you your life eventually. With the Nomads, Saul and two other minor Nomads die, but they're kinda whatever anyway. Kinda doubt anyone really cares. If you romanced Panam or Judy, going with Nomads gives a nice ending where you leave Night City and have a great time together. Even though V only gets 6 months to live, it's still very hopeful. Even if you're gonna die, you'll die surrounded by friends and the love interest. But it's also left up in the air that maybe another cure might be found elsewhere. If you bust in solo with Johnny, you'll stay in the city and nobody dies, but since Panam and Judy both leave the city, you'll have to end their romances. In which case that ending is better if you went with Kerry or River for the romance, since they both stay in the city. Rogue lives and gifts you Afterlife, and you get to continue as the legend of Night City. Eventually taking a gig from Blue Eyes who implies that if you succeed you'll get more than imagined as a reward. So there's some implication that maybe it's a cure. Because V who's almost dead at that point probably wouldn't be surprised by any other reward. I think those two paths can be considered the best. But of course people will have their own opinions. Some think Johnny getting the body is the best ending. Others think that V being cured, even without cybernetics and almost all his friends having moved on or hating him, is still good because you get to start life fresh as a normal person. I disagree with that, but I can see the reasoning.

Through Phantom Liberty. SPOILERS BELOW: 1. Either betray Songbird and don't kill her in Cynosure OR betray Reed, but call Reed and hand her over at the rocket. 2. Go to the roof by Misty's (or meet with Hanako at Embers until you get to the roof, then call Reed. 3. Play out the ending.

If you consider this a best voice line in gaming history... then you clearly haven’t played enough good games... (For all the butt hurt people... I’m a fan of RPGs and love action games. Cyberpunk is NOT a masterpiece and its story despite glorification from the fans is not anything to write home about. There are dozens of objectively better games out there that actually do have great storylines, is Cyberpunk terrible? No... but it’s not a masterpiece in gaming all of a sudden because you people watched an anime about it)
