Also for the level'd up Knights I found patience to be my answer for beating them (Also the leveled up Hammer boys). Watch their strikes, block, dodge, attack, and you will win! Especially when surrounded!

The best combination in the game is having the rapier in your dominant hand and having the knight blooded crest in your other hand

This game inspired me to learn FMA (Filipino Martial Arts), it started with arnis because of the need for fluid but fast and accurate swings. I would recommend that you guys search " sinawali" tutorial. It's amazing how it's like a back and forth learning. I get better at arnis which makes me better at the game which then makes me better at arnis haha No other way except for the dual daggers for me

I just bought this game AND HOLY CRAP THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO AND GIVING THIS GAME EXPOSURE IT IS THE BEST SWORD FIGHTING VR GAME IVE EVER PLAYED everything from The fluidity of combat to the simple and efficient UI to the solid enemy design This game just f-ing rocks WE NEEEEEED more vr games to adopt this style Of combat It’s especially cool when you start hitting the enemy really fast and they start blocking and you hear the satisfying Ching Ching Ching from Your weapons constantly colliding It feels amazing it looks amazing it is amazing I LOVE UNTIL YOU FALL it needs a sequel or 2 or 3 or 4 sequels I would gladly pay full Price

As a game developer, this is pretty inspiring for VR combat. I like the micro flow states when it comes to the executes, but I think the "Going crazy and swinging wildly" parts should be rewards for the clean executions like a dance. Regardless insanely cool game and I'll be getting it soon to do more research.

This game looks incredibly similar to a game I have been playing called ancient dungeon VR and its basically the same premise you go into a dungeon fight different enemies do a boss fight get upgrades that stack only for that run. I highly recommend that game, it may not be as gorgeous as Until You Fall but its voxel art style just gives me some nostalgia for some reason.

This game looks a lot like what I would imagine infinity blade would look like if it was made for vr and was a roguelite, what with the directional and positional dodges, blocks and parries. Even the stagger. Which is a good thing, because infinity blade has been discontinued and is criminally underutilized as an inspiration.

I mean, it's made by Schell Studios. Of you know, Jesse Schell. THE Jesse Schell, the author of Gamedesign Bible "The Art of Game Design" 2008. I don't think modern gamedev relies heavy on it tho, but it's definitely THE foundation, a population of game designers was raised on it. Fathers of gamedev! And for those who are wondering - no, gamedesign is not about art, it's about the core, the gameplay of the game, the rules, the logic, the polishing, the user experience! It's very complicated topic with a lot of nuances, long and short distance thinking, slopes and pits, so, yeah. No wonder the games made by this studio are awesome, even while being not that flashy and kinda simple. And that's exactly the point, the BEST design is when it's not overcomplicated. As they say, it's perfect not when you can't add anything more - it's when you can't take away anything of it without ruining it. And then you polish it, add all the sweet stuff, and there you have it, a perfect game. Well balanced, well designed, not overwhelming, not broken, well polished and focused on the main aspects of it... perfect! Kudos to Schell Studios!
