I have the CWC G10 Sapphire in black and also the CWC T20, I'm ex military UK and I always love the G10 watch. Worth the money and an excellent time piece to own.

Very nicely done watch review mate. I own the Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer, and I must say that I don’t love a watch more than this one. For me the deciding factor was that the Hamilton has more modern features compared to the CWC and the H50 movement that is in the Hami gives me an 80 hour power reserve compared to 42 which is much more attractive to me. But watches are a beautiful thing, it all comes down to the preference as you say. Thanks for this great review!

Solomon Erick Ticas-Santana got a Hamilton version as well, just picked up a cwc g10 the other week as well and I’m loving it, thinking of picking up the cwc version of this watch to go with my Hamilton because I feel that it offers some stuff that the Hamilton doesn’t like general durability but it might be redundant getting two of essentially the same watch

I love CWC. Great Company with outstanding customer service. Their Phoenix Nato, as well as their own CWC Nato straps, are IMHO the best on the market. Tried those and newer looked back.

I wish they had a 2-piece strap option. That watch will look nicer on a 2-piece vintage leather strap. Ended up getting the Baltany W10 at $158. Can't really beat the price and date complication.

I like modern parts on reissues but nothing beats the genuine feeling of wearing with the same size, look, and parts material to the original watch. It's akin to a time travelling experience for me.

I have a W10, no idea who made it as the dial is sterile and the back just has the Nato stock number. Last digits are 1891/91 so probably made in 1991 but I didn't think they were still being made for military issue that late.

u can put it on a bund or 2 piece straps with folding ends but you probably wouldn't want to bother for the latter

MWC is better. Screw down crown, always sapphire crystals, every model in automatic or in quartz. C3 lume or tritium tubes all this for good prices.
