You are missing a great option on the new galactic map. Click on the blue mission top left icon and hold mouse on one of the choices a line will move across and you will get the route. Also coming back as soon as the list starts running that will get your route all the way back to Robigo mines.

Quick tip on making the Python for anyone interested. It is much better to get a 5A pre-engineered FSD (I go to harrigi for this) than it is to engineer a 5A FSD for 2 reasons. First it cost less in materials to get the pre-engineered FSD and second the pre-engineered FSD has 2 mods instead of 1 making it better than any FSD you can engineer on your own.

Hey Hawkes, I want to add a few pointers to this amazing guide, first one is when you jump to the WREDGUIA star you actually don't need the heatsink, you just move away from the star until your FSD comes back online and the moment you hear the chirp you engage the FSD and while it's charging you align your ship with your target. The second one is that if you honk the sothis system as soon as you arrive it'll show the Sirius Atmospherics in your navigation panel and you will only have to do this once per session (once until you exit the game), the next trip Sirius Atmospherics will already be in your navigation panel.

Yes true, but he's negating the time that it takes to move away from the star by just hitting a heatsink. It's also a great tactic if you are being chased by NPC's across systems, they won't jump until they're far enough from the star. Gives you a few more seconds to make it to the station and beat their Interdiction, especially when you're running without weapons.

Great video. One thing: the Supercruise assist trick only works if the game RENDERS A FRAME with your ship in DROP range of the target. That means if you have a frame rate drop while trying to do this, you can miss the target and have to do a Loop O’ Shame. Also, if you just happen to be flying super-luminal at the target and try this, there’s a chance you could overshoot it simply because you’re moving at, say, a couple light seconds per frame, and that’s more than enough to overshoot, if the game doesn’t render a frame with you close enough to drop. Also, sometimes, when it does work, it drops you so close to the target that you phase through the target. So that’s a thing to be aware of; phasing through an entire space station. Nothing terrifying about that at all….

Had this happen with my Type-10: approached from behind, and suddenly found myself face to face with the solar panels of the long boi stations. Biggest "Oh shi-" moment I've had since experiencing a cabin breach in VR. Also, I'm guessing that higher FPS = less likely to happen, so people using lesser systems are screwed.

For Commanders with poorer systems: Activate your supercruise assist, but don’t line up with the station. Wait until you are 10-12 seconds out before lining up and letting the assist slow you down. Keep your throttle at max (Assist will handle the speed for you) Then, watch your speed instead of timed distance. When SC Assist has slowed you down to 0.25c, turn away from station just enough to break the assist, then immediately line up again. You will rocket forward and SC Assist will catch you at the last second.

A quick note on passenger cabins. A lot of the time they don't have them in stock in Robigo, so it may be best to drop off the scoop for the cabin at Ceos before hopping over to Robigo. Also , to get the 30.15 distance needed, I had to get a Grade 3 FSD Booster, even after D rating everything and getting engineering grade 1 of Increased range

have you considered getting a smaller sized power plant and trusters? I got every module D as well but lower size then max and also FSD-s should be atleast Lvl 4 for good jump range.

You don't need a booster to get to 30 ly. You might need to engineer some modules, specially the fsd, The sensors are very heavy so get the smaller D class you can get.

Besides the Python, I found the Dolphin to be decent candidate for Robigo passenger runs. The jump range is good, and the upfront price is not as prohibitive (if you can't afford a python yet).

Currently using Ceos > Sothis to grind Fed rank for the Corvette (Python has 244 tons of cargo space for some quick delivery missions). I know it's not the fastest but its a relaxing gameplay loop

I made a load of cheddar doing exactly this, except as soon as I make that intermediate jump I just turn 90° away from the star and immediately charge the FSD. I'm very quickly far enough away that I'm not burning up, and just need to point back at the next system. No need to pop a heatsink and it's just as fast

You can do a fast jump again without a heat sink. Just face away from the star upon entry into the system. When the FSD finishes cooling, you should be able to align with the destination before the FSD charges all the way.

This. it's counterintuitive because usually it means facing away from your target system. but if you fly away from the star your FSDs speed limit increases which allows you to see your target system faster

D-rating and\or using smaller modules, you can get away with a "normal" grade 5 engineered FSD with Mass Manager. With a human Tech broker FSD, you can A-rate your Python to your heart's content.

I recommend starting with ASP Explorer, since if you engineer the FSD, it is literally the same module for the Python later on! Good old 5A FSD... I overall swapped a lot of modules from the ASP to Python, since it all fits together somehow!

PRO TIP! 1: Add Bookmarker 01Robigo (not the star but the station) and 02 Sothis. (here you select planet 5 A5) This wat you can switch really fast and know exactly where to point your ship as soon as you jump in. 2: If you use your discovery scanner once you login in sothis you can target the Serius beacon as soon as you jump in 3: Instead of a heatsink you can also take a 90degrees nosedive

Thanks for the video, I've earnt 154,507,000cr doing 8 runs in my first two hours. Not as good as some, but it's very good for me. But I needed a 2H Guardian FSD Booster to get the full jump range, plus I have shields in my Python.

Shields won't be necessary I promise. Your best bet is to light weight or use smaller modules to milk out that extra jump range you need. Close to 30 a jump. Then you can free up 2 more spaces for passenger modules.

@@HawkesGaming I just recounted what I did, it was 9 runs not 8. I do not have enough mats to fully upgrade my FSD yet. Yes I'm thinking about dropping my shields for another cabin. Seems like most of my time is spent in the station getting passengers in and out. In a rush I have now also taken a passenger that did not want to go to SOTHIS. She was not happy but at least I took her back to the station.

Another little trick I learned just today to save more time: Instead of scrolling through the bookmarks to get back to Robigo Mines, all you have to do is open the transactions again, and the galaxy map will have updated the return destination!

Question. I’ve seen different builds using the Python for the Robigo run. Yours uses a First class in that first slot, but I’ve also seen another business class in that slot as well. What’s the reasoning for using that First Class?

You need to engineer the FSD class 5A to the max, otherwise get a guardian FSD booster.

I'm at Hauser's Reach in Robigo. They dont sell passenger cabins. INARA doesn't have passenger cabins listed as available. It costs 661 credits and 1.5 hours to transfer one from Ehecatl.

I keep a stripped down fully G5 engineered anaconda just for running modules and engineering, just throw whatever you need moved or engineered on it and get anywhere in the bubble in 3 jumps. 👍🏼 I Sola Prospect has everything and all ships too, but a little more expensive there.

For those of you that cannot engineer your FSD. Just go to Ceos and buy a pre-engineered FSD drive. Its WAY better than anything you can engineer, and you will eventually be doing that anyway.

After getting about 300+mil, I'd suggest signing up with a squadron doing bgs (background simulation). I just flipped a system for a client with some others from the squad and made 2.15 billion. I don't know how long they had the contract before I began, but after at least a week, we were done. There were 6 of us from the squad doing the work.

Yeah, as much as I love Odyssey, And actually even most of the new UI like Galaxy map which I think is actually really good once one gets used to it, they sure did absolutely butchered the passangers mission accepting sequence. Why would I want to have to select a passangers cabin I want to take Passengers in? It literally doesn't matter at all. WHY EVEN HAVE IT? It just makes the whole process slower lol. Hope they think about getting rid of that XD
