Is it safe to share your OpenAI key with the OAI-Widget? OpenAI writes (as you can see at the video at 3:01) "Do not share your API key with others, or expose it in the browser or other client-side code. In order to protect the security of your account, OpenAI may also automatically disable any API key that we've found has leaked publicly."

I wonder if they are going to add a toggle to the Assistant API to turn off its ability to send multiple responses per run? I'm not really a coder but I've been playing around with the API in colab. Printing the latest message is straight forward but figuring out is there are multiple assistant messages and outputting them in the correct order is beyond my feeble skills. I could prompt it in the system message to never produce follow-up messages but what's the fun in that? It's been nice not having to deal with managing the context length like before.

@@vrsen The assistant API has the ability to add two or more separate responses to the thread in the same run. I actually had a detailed conversation with it about the feature. Later I had it create a prompt for me that often gets a multi part answer. I just tested it again and it sent three back. From my testing code interpreter might be what's allowing it to happen so it needs to be enabled. Prompt: "Hello AI, I’m interested in understanding how you handle multi-part messages in a conversation. Could you please demonstrate this by first describing your process and then providing a separate follow-up with additional insights or tips?" Sometimes I'm unlucky and it won't work. Sometimes you can ask for a list of things and add something like, "...then do an additional follow-up message with details on one of them" to the end. I also had it create a prompt to prevent them but I've not tested it thoroughly.

Great content as always :) Nice chatbot solution. Does the chatbot offer the option to add something like conversation starters (suggested messages) presented as buttons with question inside? I think it would very helpful as some users don't know how to start the chat or what to ask and the other chat solutions have this feature.

Thanks for feedback. Primarily this is due to GPT outputting large chunks of text. The longer the response - the bigger the latency. Make sure to add at the end of your instruction “never output messages longer than 3-5 sentences each.” This will help. Additionally, would you like us to add gpt-35 model? It is quite stupid, but responses would be much faster

Ok so it can take quite a while before it loads the text so whynot for the sake of the user add the text "Typing" to where it is loading so the user knows that the actual responce is coming.. because I just did a test now and it took 20 seconds and many users will just close the chat and move on .. people have short attention spans.@@vrsen

@@vrsen As a feedback: when running on colab there are 2 things I noticed: 1. If you create too many agents and your Company Manifest is too long you will you overload the API, so maybe you want to cap the manifest, proportionally to the model used? 2. But also when you create the Agents their prompt is the Company Manifest only? Wouldn't it be better it to be a concatenation of Manifest + Instructions? Or the script on Github is different? That's why I wanted to try it, I can't find an entry point no main.py nor app.py, I don't understand what I need to do to get started? Do I need to create the agents programmatically first?

@@truehighs7845 Agents will combine both manifest and instructions. Don't want to cap it, to ensure that users have full control. If anything, OpenAI will return an error. To test it you need to run run_demo method from your agency. See the collab notebook

Hi there. I bought a $5 widget, but am having trouble configuring it. I found Voiceflow easy to configure with lots of training. Do you have step by step detailed training info to support this widget implementation? I have to say it's a great product for someone with very limited AI knowledge like myself. I have signed up for the pro version but I am curious about something. If I create my assistant on the OpenAI website, add the actions and files there (basically created on OpenAI and not In house), then will the actions work on the free forever plan as well?

No, unfortunately there is no way to support actions for assistants created through OpenAI. However, if you create your assistant through OpenAI, there is no limit to how many files you can upload. (Currently, free only support 3 files, at most 5MB each if you create it on oai-widget.com)

You can upload files and set instructions, for sure. You just can’t remove the watermark or add actions. There is also a limit of 3 files per assistant on free, but if you upload files through openai yourself, it’s unlimited as well.

Yes, export all KZbin transcripts in a PDF or Markdown file. Include links to the corresponding videos in the document. Instruct the model to reference these links when using information from these transcripts.
