Ive never kept a wiper, I like to let em go. I keep thinking one of these days I'll hook one too bad to let him go, then I'd keep him. Lol I had no plans to put the fall in the video, but when I seen the footage, I realized it had to go in 😆. When I'm using both cameras, I wear the 10 and have the 9 on the boat. @@Midwesthookset There might be some truth to it! I know the lake trout in our big reservoirs are a bit of a problem as are the pike and musky. Big hungry fish can throw off the balance.

Spring and fall, my go-to is a suspending jerkbait. My favorite is the 6th Sense Provoke DD. In the summer, a lipless crank or 5-7ft diver works well. Lots of people like a small swimbait.

I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone catch Wipers. They look pretty big. Are they edible? You did great out there.

They're a hybrid fish. Crossed between a striped bass and a white bass. People do eat them but I haven't tried one yet. They can't reproduce, so every one you catch is a stocker fish. The state record is 25lbs. The last video I put up, is a cast to catch of my pb, 13lbs. Thanks for watching!👊🎣
