If you don't have a bearing cleaning kit you can also soak the bearings in isopropyl alcohol individually and get a pretty similar result

I bought the bones bearing cleaning bottle a while back but I haven't been able to use it. So I guess buy Zealous bearings. Built in, only $14, high roll speed, and they last forever. They're pretty popular in the longboarding community (like the Bones Reds of longboarding but better).

Nice, I keep saying I'm gonna get some zealous bearings but It hasn't happened yet! Definitely will pick up a pair a try out cuz ik a lot of longboarders I see on instagram use them

@waltersensei91223 жыл бұрын
@@simongerman2752 btw they do use grease as the lubricant so they are a little slow when you first get them but once you break them in they ride just as good if not better than every other bearing. The grease helps them last a lot longer and resist dirt and water.

Do you think the bones cleaning container is worth the investment? It's $16 right now and I'm tempted to use a small container at home and shake it around. NICE video

How often do you have to clean your board? I’m a beginner but I cruise 1-2 hours pretty much every day on a cruiser board but I’m too scared to take it apart and give it a deep clean like this😳 when do you know it’s time to clean your wheels, grip tape, etc?
@OgdenSikel3 жыл бұрын
it all depends on the person and how much they use it, and in what way. Like for downhillers, you probably have to frequently replace the wheels, vs someone who only cruises may replace the wheels like every 6 years or something…generally I do a deep clean of the bearings once a year, usually during early spring when it’s still snowy out so I’m ready for the warmer weather! Some people recommend every 6 months but it varies…I’d say if you think your board is really slowing down and your bearings are covered in dirt then it’s probably time to clean it!! Don’t be scared to take it apart either! It’s very simple to do once you try it!

Do you know what kind of protective tail guards are good for the dinghy, like good ones. Because The first day I got my board, I fell and there’s like scratches already :(

does it still work if i use hand sanitizer instead of isopropyl alcohol? my dad said i cant use them (by that i mean i cant use isopropyl alcohol)
@Nousingthisac3 жыл бұрын
I have a question Can you use anytype of alcohol? Like exemple Green cross alcohol, also this video was really helpful!
@OgdenSikel3 жыл бұрын
if its 90% or higher then its probably good. Anything lower than 90 will have too much water and you could risk rusting the bearings

Hey bro how long does is usually take for landyachtz to ship a complete 🛹? I got FedEx 2day and gonna be shitty if have to wait past at least this Monday if you could drop some knowledge that'd be awesome

Last year when I ordered my Dinghy, it took 8 days for them to ship it and then it arrived 6 days later. I didnt pay for speedy shipping though, just standard, so yours may come sooner
