Your dad did a great job with the camera and talking about what was happening. I think having him do more of the camera work would be great as you get to hear some of his farmer wisdom. Overall, impressive work and a great video.

Thank you sir! I wish he could be around to spectate more and hold the camera. He’s a busy guy but no one understands what’s going on more than him. I’d like to get more of his thoughts coming through the videos

The best way is to go to big bale. I use to put up about 40 thousand every year by hand. Then we got a bale wagon and then I went to ton bales and now I have 3x4s. Wouldn’t ever go back to small bales. I have loaded ton bales into a dry van like that with ton bales. Loved it
@FarmingInsider3 жыл бұрын
Large bales are very very nice for handling, I’ll give you that

As we convert rounds into squares as needed.... We load directly out of the Bale Baron with a heavy duty Ramp and 5045E / with loader that will go inside.trailer....... 40 rounds converted into 36 -21 bale bundles loaded in about 3 hours.. by 2 people......

At 9:00 minutes in, regarding the big fella holding that board like if it had boobs, he'd marry it, and as an electrician myself on a job-site, whenever an electricians passed a big husky carpenter carrying one 2x4, we would say, "Feeling a little board are ya?" Get it? Feeling a little board.., and .... Feeling a little bored...? From Canada, where we have a bit of big farming here as well, love your videos. How far away was this load of hay going? Do you sell much that goes a long way from home? Carl's not going to give ya a good grade without earning it!

@@FarmingInsider Are curtain side trailers not widely used in the USA? Over here in Europe they are most popular trailer type. They are great for hay, you just open one side and load/unload from there.

That is extremely nice of you to look out for him, and thank you. At moments I do see how it would appear that way but I promise that he regularly asks for us to get the camera out and his family loves watching the videos.
