Recipe for: The Best Way to Make French Fries at Home
NECESSARY PRODUCTS:
Potatoes - 3 pcs.
Oil for frying.
Salt.
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks about 0.5-1 cm thick. Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl. Add enough cold water to cover the potatoes. Add a few ice cubes and stir. Leave the potatoes in the water for 10 minutes.
10 minutes later. Remove the potatoes from the water and place them on kitchen paper. Dry the potatoes well.
Pour two fingers of oil into a pan. Turn on the stove to maximum and wait for the oil to heat up. Add half the potatoes to the pan and fry them for about 1-2 minutes. Drain the potatoes on kitchen paper and absorb the excess fat. Repeat the same procedure with the remaining potatoes. Allow the potatoes to cool thoroughly for about 20 minutes.
20 minutes later. Turn on the heat again to maximum. Wait for the oil to heat up well. Add half of the potatoes and fry until golden brown. Remove the finished potatoes to a bowl with kitchen paper. Repeat the same procedure with the remaining potatoes.
After frying all the potatoes, salt them and mix while they are still hot.
