I was raised in Calif living in Fremont, at a golf course there, there was a restaurant called Bold Night, I had ordered Shrimp Scami , it was the best dish I have ever eaten, had shrimp, crab in a mushroom sauce, it was soooooo good me n my sister used to go there every wknd, that’s what got me liking shrimp scampi, it’s been 50 yrs later n I still think of that dish to this day, I which I new what the mushroom sauce had in it, been looking since for that mushroom sauce, loved it yummy

My mini food processor is perfect for garlic. My recipe for shrimp is very similar but... No chilli pepper seeds, I use cayenne, chilli and paprika (powders) I mince a small onion Place olive oil and butter in pan, sautée onions and garlic Add shrimp lemon juice and spices Just prior to removing sprinkle with Parmesan cheese give a stir and plate Garnish with parsley Mostly same as this just with Parmesan added. Very yummy
