As a brand new shooter I'll say this. When I came across your initial videos for this bag I knew immediately this was the route I as going to go for EDC vs on body carry. I feel it's safer, it's equally if not quicker to draw. 945 offers 2 different size bags so if I wanted to carry a full size pistol like say an m&p 2.0 I can. Plus of course the option to carry other essential daily items in it as well. So thank you for continuing with these videos for me as they've been beyond helpful. I'm hopefully getting my first pistol soon, and then shortly after I will be purchasing one of these as well and practicing at home.

No way drawing from your chest is as fast as drawing from your belt line. Your hands are at your belt line naturally, and you can draw with one hand. With that bag, you have to reach up to your chest and use both hands to open and draw.
@Iamshields632Ай бұрын
@@boardedupable I might be new. But the only way your drawing from your hip 1 handed is if you're open carrying outside the waist band. If your carrying inside underneath a shirt or jacket. It's a 2 handed technique to get the garment out of the way and draw.
@boardedupableАй бұрын
@Iamshields632 Yes, you are new, I concealed carry inside the waistband, and I'm quite capable of lifting my shirt with my thumb and draw my pistol with one hand. In the same amount of time, it would take you to bring your hands up and even touch that bag that's on your chest.
@Iamshields632Ай бұрын
@@boardedupable would love to see a video of that. Because I've not seen a one handed concealed draw yet. Curious how it looks.
@boardedupableАй бұрын
@Iamshields632 it's easy if you practice bro, next time I get to the range, I'll try to get you footage. I've got long limbs, so my hands are below my shirt line. Then it's just a matter of hooking the bottom of my shirt with my thumb up and grabbing my glock 23 on the way up. As soon as my thumb closes around my grip, my shirt falls, and my pistol comes to my chest and out to my target. Reholstering it is a 2 hand job for sure. But with enough repetition, it really does become second nature. I'm sure it is the same with the bag, I just feel like bringing your hands up that far to draw is more time consuming. Although you do bring the gun to your chest to acquire your target and punch out. In an intense situation if you are hip drawing you can fire a couple shots from the hip to suppress their attack, giving you time to take aim and get on target. And drawing with one hand you have the other had that you can divert their attention with. The most important thing is what is comfortable for you, so good luck finding that. Keep working at it you'll see improvements really quick. I've had my concealed for 18 years, and tbh I've probably lost some speed because with my 3 kids sports and everything else going on, I don't get as much range time as I used to, and when I do it's spent zeroing my long range weapons more than my EDC.

Im looking for something to carry while riding my motorcycle, and also something that looks inconspicuous enough to take to work and not tell everyone hey I have a firearm via printing or it just being an obvious bag made for a gun. Edit: $140 is CRIMINAL THOUGH😭

The skill comes on finding that pull tab under stress when your fine motor skills diminish. It’s fast cause you’re prepared to use it with the timer. But under stress a lot of people will miss that tab.

I address this very thing in one of my other 945 videos. If you train yourself to be ready with the QAPT then your. Motor skills won’t suffer. That’s why I say be aware so that you can properly deploy when needed. I’ll have to make another video explaining that haha

tbf in a high stress situation people will reach over their shirt or pull their gun under their shirt when drawing from the waist. this looks a little goofy but i think it’s probably better for most people (though they will never admit it) on top of being way more comfortable

Concealed carry does not make the situation more safe. Your scenario, did you accidentally deliver a pizza to a biker club? What kind of town are you living in that requires you to "feel safe" by carrying a concealed carry?

As someone who has carried a multitude of different ways, It actually feels really good and has some major benefits that on-body carry doesn't. The part about it "looking dumb" is completely personal preference. If you feel like you look dumb, then you'll probably look dumb. In our current time, all sorts of fanny packs and single strap bags are really stylish; even being sold by most high end designers. So the "dumb" part is just how you imagine other people will view you. Not very masculine to be worried about such things, brother. 😂 Try it out. I bet you love it.

@@aaronlawrence1848it’s funny, that’s 1000% true! Pay attention to it next time, for anyone who hasn’t. It’s always an internalized emotion. We just think and believe others will view us that way. Hahahah. It’s all in the confidence. And also true, I see TONS of people wearing fanny packs this way. It’s a huge style in the younger generations for sure. Started seeing it in the early 2010’s. Evolved out of the sidebag fad in the late 2000’s. I myself have a bunch of fanny packs from the past. They’re perfect when running, hiking, camping, and just every day movements. Adidas, Nike, bumbag, new balance, and tons more make them still. it’s still very much a thing. To each their own, but remember, nobody cares what you do or look like. And if they do, well, why do YOU care what they think? It’s all in the confidence. 🙏🏽
