Today I am showing you all of my Session stats and settings I use for my realistic Session: Skate Sim. This is the best way to play Session in my opinion, but we are all different so adjust any setting to your liking :)

With the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You will need to learn how to control them and transfer weight, just like on a real skateboard. The physics have been developed with a focus on realism, smoothness and immersion. Just like in real life for a new skateboarder, the first hours can seem challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, you will feel the unrivalled thrill of pulling off your very first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full options customization, so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored to you. A full tutorial provides all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!
THE 1990S AND SKATE CULTURE
Inspired by the golden age of street skating - the 1990s - Session: Skate Sim lets you experience true skateboarding and its culture: no scoring system; just you, your spot and your imagination! There's no need for judges to tell you that your noseslide or varial heelflip are perfect for this spot. And because certain locations are iconic, the developers have added several of them to the game for you to skate in and express your creativity, including Black Hubbas (New York City), Brooklyn banks (New York City), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many other spots.

Skating and pulling off the best lines in the best spots is one thing, but if no one is there to film it, it didn't really happen… In Session: Skate Sim, you can film with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens, and you can use the video editor to create your clips and share them. You can play with multiple options, including changing the field of view, time of day, filters, and different camera views (tripod, orbit, etc.). Session: Skate Sim also offers the chance to go from skater to filmmaker: pull off your moves then go into film mode to experience the action from the point of view of your camera operator and create the best clip.
CUSTOMIZATION
Show off your style with an extensive customization system for your skater and skateboard. By completing challenges, you earn money to spend in skate shops. You can find nearly 200 items (hoodies, shoes, caps, T-shirts, trousers, etc.) from top brands, such as Fallen, Zero, GrindKing, Thankyou, HIJINX Net, Antilanta, Roger Skate CO, No-Comply, iDabble and others. You can also customise your skateboard with over 250 parts, such as wheels, trucks and many other components from famous brands like, No-Comply, GindKing, Thankyou and many others. In addition to the design aspect, the components (trucks, riser pads, wheels…) impact the way you skate. Find the right ones for your style and shred the most iconic spots!

Everybody knows without mods this game doesn’t exist … everybody knows this game need 201116778 mods for look good … cause all the game is a shit gameplay graphism physics sounds skate 1 is better than this sh!t . But whatever for response u , u wrong there is no mod for make XL more beautifull than session graphism so not « in all ways »

It's too bad this game doesn't show actual numerical values for the sliders so we can make certain we're setting it the same as yours, rather than eye balling the sliders. I guess you could always count how many click from 0 each setting is, and display it on-screen that way? A little extra work but ensures that we get the same settings :)

Thanks! Today I went back to Skater XL after only 3 months of vanilla session on xbox. Imma try it with these stats and maybe I will enjoy the game more. I went back to SXL today just to have a session where I feel good about my skating and just kill it. Maybe because of my controls, Session has been rather frustrating for me, but I think maybe that’s only because of my stats. So this video was helpful right now for me, thank you!

This is a quote from JL Nightmare. “Extra Pitch is how vertical your board is allow to get when you flip a trick. Flicking diagonally Up will pitch the nose of the board down, flicking diagonally down will keep the nose more in the air (flicking straight to the side will keep board level)”

You gotta use "ticks" instead of trying to align stuff with letters. Start at the middle and count how many times you move left or right.

The best way for session to look realistic is to not have robot animations and fix the damn bounce glitch. If you could flow in Session like xl it would be a perfect skateboarding game.

I wish you could just quickly equip a new graphic deck from your inventory when your board breaks. I mean I'm all for realism but having to go to your apartment or skate shop every time is a bit overkill lol

May have to play this again. Its been awhile. Been playin alot of Hollow Knight n The Binding od Issac. I heard Session will be getting a huge update in the fall for unreal engine 5. Hope thats true.

Clean your analog sticks with rubbing alcohol. Occasionally fixes it since stick drift can be caused by dirt also

If on pc then increase deadzone. Not sure if you can do that on console. This game requires precision though so that's a bandaid solution at best. I know because I also had drift and I couldn't do any 360 shuv variation because of it, even with deadzones increased. If you consistently have stick drift problems then maybe look into hall effect thumbstick controllers like gamesir cyclone pro. They essentially remove stick drift as it uses magnets to measure inputs instead of potentiometers that wear down over time. As for cleaning the potentiometers, it's worth a try, but it has never worked for the 6 controllers I've had that got drift. I feel like it's only really a solution if you know your controller is really dirty/had something spilled on it.
