the only thing to keep in mind once ur past 30 is you have to be a little more careful about injuries than teenagers who skate. otherwise go for it, more people than you think pick skating up in their 20s and 30s. it's just getting past being afraid of looking like a rookie but it's honestly good for your self-confidence. get comfortable going out and wobbling around on your board in full protective gear and you will genuinely become a more confident person in general. don't skip the elbow and knee pads either, i had to break my elbow to learn that putting on gear is much more preferable to not being able to skate at all because of an injury.

Pretty good settings dude :) one thing to note for Manual Pop Height: if you pull the back foot stick fully down just before you flick front foot to pop out, it will void your Advanced Settings for Manual Pop Height and treat it like a normal ollie (it will apply your High Pop Height and Low Pop Height settings instead). Popping out of manual at different heights actually works the same as controlling a normal ollie height. A split second pull down input before pop will do your low pop ollie out of manual and holding stick down a bit longer will allow you to get your max height ollie out of manual. Your Advanced Setting for Manual Pop Height will only be used when you pop straight from the Manual input without first pulling stick down fully. so if you want your manual pop height to actually be the height that you set it in the advanced Settings, pop while still holding the stick half down (same applies for nose manual). An alternative for popping low out of manual is to flick front foot stick Down to get Low Pop Ollie.

Im glad to hear they’re prioritizing animations now after finishing the school yard map. It just sucks everyone knows the game would’ve came so much further if it had multiplayer and the mod menu like XL. Endless content, for youtube and great promo for the game I dont understand. Overall wouldve generated more $ but I get they need it now to keep their team running.

i completely disagree, every game before this lacked self expression and everything was chosen for you like your tricks were caught automatically, your speed was only a mix between slow mid and fast with three pushes respectively, single button input tricks at the worst (thps) and one stick only direction at best(skate) which gave room for the GIANT development teams to fund the storyline and animators etc. Session is small, ambitious, and is made as a simulator to real life and there is no skate game to come this close to real life. @@derpderpin1568

When you land on the big drop dont land stiff legs. Only move the analogs the least you need to so he still gets the regular animation but you have to release the sticks as soon as you land or he’ll do that weird animation.

You can also low pop by moving the front foot back on the board instead of up, which, if you came from Skater XL, you're gonna learn on your own. A lot. You're gonna remember that that's how you low pop and not high pop a looot. Because ollies actually makes sense now which doesn't make sense. xD

No more advanced than a Tony Hawk game? Good GOD. I did not realize Sessions played like a 25yr old THPS game. So, when you're near a rail and you jump, you instantly STICK to the nearest rail, and can grind 20 or 30 feet? And on ramps, simple button combinations will yield 'Christ Air' like moves in Session?! BTW, How many times did you do a backlip onto a rail in Session? 🤣
