The best way to store your cigars

Don’t put your cigars in a humidor, put them in a Tupperdor instead. In this video I will walk you through a better alternative to a traditional humidor while maintaining flavor and aging benefits.
A Tupperdor is a humidor that uses a plastic food safe Tupperware container, Spanish cedar wood, a humidity regulation pack, and a Wi-Fi enabled Thermo hygrometer.

Nice setup! Dig the idea of the flipped cedar tray to hide the tech, you could probably layer another tray on top of that one for another layer allowing for even greater airflow and a nice cedar aroma about as full as a wood humidor that would be a lot harder to maintain. As your collection grows, Home Depot carries an EzyStorage bin that can store 3 trays high of sticks as your collection grows and at half the price of the Sistema boxes. Cheers!

Love this idea. My only issue is I may need temperature control. My house fluctuates from 68 in the winter to 78-80 in the summer.

Don't worry about it, just as long as the humidity is 65-69

Put it in a big cooler, keeps the temp at 66 to 68 no ice, just the cooler closed

I got a mini sistema one, great you went with a kiwi product 👌, ideal, I use 72%RH bovedas the little ones. I like the idea of the ceder rack. I’ll probably keep a look out for some small sheets would be the relevant alternative for me. Thanks for sharing man and Kiaora from New Zealand 🙌

You can recharge your boveda (there are YT videos teaching how to do it).. making the system less expensive

I've been using 65 boveda pack and I just took one out to smoke and it feels over humidified, am I doing something wrong? Also is a ceder tray absolutely necessary can you not just put your cigars directly in the Tupperware?

Doesn't have to be a cedar tray, but some kind of cedar inside! If using an airtight box, use a 62% boveda box with a hygrometer and always calibrate your hygrometer twice a year! Oh, when using an airtight box, always open it once a month to allow the cigars to breathe!
