I like this order except I think Deadpool 2 should come after Logan, because otherwise it spoils the ending, and it can be good to have a palate cleanser after a movie like Logan (that’s if I’m including the Deadpool movies at all, which I may or may not). I’ve essentially arrived at the same order myself though. But I’m still torn on whether to watch The Wolverine directly after The Last Stand or between First Class and Days of Future Past. I feel like either way has merit, but I’ve been leaning towards yours. I also don’t plan to watch Dark Phoenix or The New Mutants as part of any future viewings, but that’s me. And I haven’t seen Deadpool & Wolverine, or Multiverse of Madness for that matter, so I’m still leaving MCU appearances out of the conversation.

I totally agree with Phoenix and New Mutants. The Wolverine can kind of go in either place. The problem is that Fox didn’t do a great job with continuity so it gets weird. Deadpool and Wolverine is absolutely amazing!

As far as connecting things with other movies, it really doesn’t but it’s a really good movie and I love it. It shows more of who Logan is. It does reference X-men 3 a little. Overall if you skip it, things from the movie don’t come up in the future.

I put this as the best way to watch them, not chronologically. If you watch First class and Wolverine origins first, it kinda messes up things. Wolverine origins wasn’t that good and you would watch that with no connection to the character.

If you wanted to go chronological then I guess but this order doesn’t connect the movies the way it should. The only reason we are connected to First class is because of the original trilogy. And what makes DoFP so great is that you’ve seen both generations already.

I didn’t add the tv shows for the same reasons as a lot of the MCU shows. The shows acknowledge the movies but the movies never acknowledge the shows. However Legion was really good and I absolutely loved Gifted.

I get saving Logan for the end, but Deadpool 2 spoils the ending of Logan, so you'd probably be better off watching Logan before Deadpool 2 if it's your first time through. Why do you like placing the Deadpool movies where you have them? I personally prefer Apocalypse right after Days of Future Past, especially since the Days of Future Past post-credits scene tees up Apocalypse. And since Apocalypse's post-credits scene kind of leads into Logan (and maybe The New Mutants based on what I've read about it? It's the only XMen movie I haven't watched yet), maybe you could make an argument about watching Logan after Apocalypse... but I do agree that it's better to watch Dark Phoenix before Logan.

I typically always say watch Logan last because it’s so dang good and set as a perfect ending for both Logan and Professor X. Deadpool doesn’t really spoil Wolverine origins because it doesn’t say anything. It’s just a joke you wouldn’t get watching it. I do mention that DofP can be watched in a couple different spots but I like it after First Class because of the direct connection to that class without adding Deadpool in before he’s relevant.

Glad I could help. I’m making a massive video combining MCU w the Fox X-men because Deadpool n Wolverine is bringing it all together. Also, X men 97 was so good. I watched out of nostalgia but was blown away at how great it was.
