Fc on old gen is similar to this as far as the space. It’s the next gen that is 100% chalked due to the overload of animations and hyper motion- etc. old gen still has advantages of play styles but feels much more manual and easier to breathe. Both versions suffer from the inconsistent gameplay though, which is very unfortunate

🚨PES PRO TIP OF THE DAY: As a former and current pro tactician on EFootball I feel obliged to pass on my knowledge of the game to the people. What you wanna do on EFootball is first and foremost assemble a team of predominantly giants. Most of the team have to be 5’11 and above to make sure you have the advantage and establish AERIAL DOMINANCE, as lofted passes during build up is the meta. Up next you need to make sure to run a dual/triple striker formation to ensure you have outlets in attack to win these lofted passes. The taller they are the better, i.e Haaland or a Ronaldo. If not tall then they need to be very quick. Any combination between these types will be great. PLAYSTYLES are also important in this regard, target man style, goal poacher or a fox in the box are the best for strikers. This next thing is also very important. You need to make sure to fit in one or two PAUSES throughout games. This will help establish psychological dominance and show that you are indeed the better tactician. Lastly, what you need from your players is PASSION. Anyone not displaying that needs kicking from the team.

This bit ''clunky'' thing that people say is what actually makes this game feel more realistic and like a football match. Players have some weight and inertia in their movements just like in real life. Where in Fifa players feel too soft and like weightless ballerinas not like footballers. The problem is that eFootball servers are very often overcrowded and problematic and the match can be very laggy and nearly unplayable. But when it plays without much lag yeah it can feel nice and realistic and that bit of ''clunkyness'' adds to the realistic feel. You just have to get used to it and know when and where to move and not just running around like a headless chicken. This game is not all about pace and skills like arcady Fifa.
