Absolutely... The build variety was incredible. I literally spent hours making a green hulk. Then leveled so I could use the great club... Then went inside on the bridge. Fond memories of invaders going... Wait wtf. Oh cool. And of hulk smash. Parrying (with a great club) the ass hats who just ran at you was funny as feck. Fond memories man

DS2 has the most insane weapons among all the souls in my opinion, it's the only one game where you can hadoken your way to victory (+ Andre tribute)

you can do some pretty insane builds in ds1 and ds3 too. for example black knight glaive in ds1 or things like infused claymore or upped vordts in ds3 absolutely anihilate the entire game, literally 3 shotting bosses due to frostbite. and if you think sorcery is strong in ds2, oh boy its nothing compared to ds3 sorcery, you can literally make yourself invisible for 99.9% of the game and skip any enemy you dont like, oneshotting the ones you do like xD and well.. elden ring is another story of broken weapons and magic being OP

DS2 had "weird weapons" in a whole nother level the smelter hammer is just a ten foot chicken drumstick, large bells with handles on them, an anvil chained to a stick, star-wars style twinblades made of rock and a scythe made entirely out of bones tied together. if that's not enough, you can get a ring to just make your weapon invisible lmao i love it

just an FYI, Even if the Attack Rating is technically higher you're likely going to be doing less damage when you infuse weapons because of having to go through two different defenses. Infusions are really for exploiting specific elemental weaknesses or if you're a mage that wants to use a melee weapon but hasn't been pumping STR or DEX. Otherwise going pure Physical is better

Yo Yaz when you do the bow run try out the bleed arrows on enemies like Aava, normally 200 bleed damage ain't a lot but getting it in 3 shots on top of the arrow base damage makes it pretty decent. Other than that I think fire and magic arrows were the best options. Also gotta try out Bow of Want for the DLCs that thing is just incredible. Oh yeah and don't bother using Flynn's Ring, it doesn't work on bows but Ring of Blades does.

The Bone Fist will always be one of the coolest weapons in the series. And one of the most dire black marks against Elden Ring will always be that they turned the Bone Fist into a Full On GigaChad Boss in the form of Hourax Loux and yet didn't let the player have access to that moveset on ANY of the fist weapons. There's a reason there are like 5 different mods on Nexus for Elden Ring that are all about improving the Unarmed/Fist Moveset.

btw if you look, the bone fist has like a 60% damage boost when you counter hit, so while a boss is attacking if you land hits is does WAY more damage.

U get a shield that gives u the chloranthy rings effect in one of the giant memories..so basically u can equip all dmg rings and when u have the Shield in ur left hand..u can 2 hand the weapon of ur desire in ur right hand and still have the effects of the shield active.Hope This helps for future builds
