Man this has just opened up my world. I'm 64 and always wanted to build ziplines in my woods but pulling cable for a single woman was always tricky. What I love about these nets is I can start low for my great niece and nephew and add higher and higher as they age and it will be something I can really bond with them over. Thank you 🙏🤗🥰

Hi! Just found your videos after diving down a spacenet rabbit hole :) I can't wait to put one of these together for my kids! One question though... After weaving, can they be taken down and moved? I'm thinking about using ratchet straps to connect the skeleton to the trees, and wondering how much the double touch weaves will move. What are your thoughts on that?
@treenetweaves Жыл бұрын
They can be transported anywhere 😊 I move mine around all the time and they continue to look great!

I've been looking around I've not seen anyone who shows putting in a portal for multi tierer space nets. Any chance you can go through that?
@treenetweaves2 жыл бұрын
It’s not on any projects of mine yet but once I have one to make I’ll definitely go through that 😊😊

I've never made spacenet before, but I'm going to hopefully make some in my tree this summer, it looks so fun! Thank you so much for these videos, they're a huge help :) Just wondering, how would you do the middle of the net? Sorry if this is a dumb question lmao
@treenetweaves2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes that part takes a bit of creativity haha. You can either weave under the net or on it 😊 Either way is fine just make sure to keep it tight!

Love your patterns, what type of rope would you recommend for the perimeters?
@treenetweaves Жыл бұрын
Anything strong and static 🙌🏼 I like sterling and Mammut a lot but other brands also work

Thank you for all your spacenet tutorials! How much paracord did you used for this one?
@treenetweaves3 жыл бұрын
Anytime! 😊 I used about 1000 feet of paracord for this one.

nice videos brother. roughly how much cord would you use for a net like the one in this video? Starting to gather materials for a tree net but Im trying to figure out how much I'll need to order. cheers
@treenetweaves2 жыл бұрын
About 1000ft here :)

Have you ever thought of using constrictor hitch instead of clove hitch? It's almost similar but as the name suggest constrictor hitch won't slide.
@treenetweaves Жыл бұрын
I have. I just think it would take much longer to have to tie hundreds of constrictor hitches over clove hitches. It would definitely work though! 😊

You can make big holes in nets too :) I’ll detail how to make those in future videos 😊

Ever think to use dynema?
@treenetweaves10 ай бұрын
Yes :) I sometimes use it for the perimeter but it’s very expensive compared to static rope or spansets

Doesnt nobody sells these nets pre-built? I mean, We'd have to make the perimeter but the net would be ready to be installed, somewhat like a fishing net...
@treenetweaves11 ай бұрын
Yep! I sell these pre-built for $500 if anyone is interested 😊
@GregJoshuaW10 ай бұрын
why don't you use adjustable hitch knots for this?
@treenetweaves10 ай бұрын
That would work too. There are lots of ways to build nets 😊

oh ok cool, I wasn't sure if they cause failures or something. Thanks bro!
