Maybe this was too obvious to mention, but the extra combat steps also feed into the Unnatural Growth, since it is worded as “at the beginning of each combat.” Your creatures could keep doubling and doubling in a single turn and become absolutely monstrous.

Yeah. That card is a real bomb in green stompy decks.

Im 25 years old and my 2 older brothers have been playing magic for years now ever sense it started and I played a few times in the past few years but finally decided to purchase my first ever Commander deck because that's what they play. I do have to admit I have Been watching a lot of your videos lately and I do have to say that it has been a huge help. I Purchased the Innistrad Midnight hunt deck along with a set booster pack which should arrive by Oct 1st. I'm not the smartest person nor very good at card games but I do Love playing and love the ability to really craft your material so even when I do lose 10+ games I will still have a smile on my face due to the amount of fun I will be having...( I really don't like to lose thought) THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO, I love watching your videos and looking forward to the future!

9:01 There’s a nice new mana-producing artifact in Innistrad, the Celestus. It also helps werewolves by giving you control of the day/night cycle for 3 mana. And giving you +1 life any time that cycle shift happens. It’s less aggro though, more about recovery

Cards that give creatures flash are valuable in tribal werewolves to help them transform. With how the new day/night mechanic works cards like Aluren and Vernal Equinox are interesting because it not only does it allow you to transform your werewolves by playing them not on your turn but it also incentives other players to not play on their own turns.

As much as everyone is on the werewolf hype train (and they should be, congrats! you finally got what you've waited for! :D), I myself have always loved the gothic horror investigator theme. Investigate was left by the wayside and I couldn't quite get the groove of the noir detective out of Lonis, Cryptozoologist. Enter Eloise, Nephalia Sleuth, a commander using BOTH of my favorite keywords in magic on the same card in my favorite two colors of magic since i started playing a decade ago. An artistofacts deck based around binning cards you're not after (YET.) and cracking both creatures and clues to get to the bottom of this case. traditional control packages combine with artifact synergies and aristocrats to make a very unusual form of control at a table of 3 opponents and I'd love to see your take on the investigations she's DELVING into out in the rainy gutters of the Erdwal (or as other denizens call it, "the Ditch.") PS. I really hope prof sees this cuz i'm just so excited about Eloise I can't contain it!

11:46 Spellbinder will let you copy Savage Beating for free, but it will *NOT* let you entwine it for free, since entwine is an additional cost. It's the same as with free casting a kicker spell, you still have to pay for the kicker if you want it. It's not the biggest deal since it's just two mana extra, but it is worth noting.

The biggest issue is dealing with fliers but you can just swarm the board so quickly. Unnatural Growth, Rage Reflection, Rhythm of the Wild, and Xenagos make your creatures so strong. Arena lacks a bunch of those spicier options, but I definitely took some inspiration from this video for my new Tovolar Historic Brawl deck. I'm testing, "Moraug, "Fury of Akoum," for extra combat phases with extra landfall/turn triggers. I must not understand the text correctly; I can only get it to work on the second main phase and only once/turn. "Whenever a land ETB under your control, if it's your main phase, there's an additional combat phase after this phase. At the beginning of that combat, untap all creatures you control." Why don't additional phases stack if I play a fetch land first main? I get that I can't use my normal combat phase unless I have some vigilance or a way to untap during or post additional phase. I think... Shouldn't that let me take 2 additional phases, then maybe swing in with a vigilant dude for main combat, draw a bunch of cards, and ideally play some more land second main and attack a couple more times? It's pretty hard to have all of that going at the same time to test. I couldn't get any vigilant creatures going in that 1/100+ game where I had him and Druid Class at the same time. Might get replaced by a trample anthem or add the 4/1 human for 3 that can exert for an additional combat. Then Moraug could help untap him for the next turn.

Something to note here with Vildin-pack Alpha and Moonmist, they cannot transform cards with Daybound/Nightbound on them. It will literally do nothing because of how daybound nightbound works in the game rules. But at least half of your cards will still work with it with the old transform text. Also something to note is that Day/Night only checks if the active player (the person who's turn it is) has casted two or more or no spells. If that player didn't cast spells and it was day, it will turn night regardless of what other players do on that player's turn. This also means that in some awkward situations that your Daybound/Nightbound werewolves with Tovolar will transform because it turns night, but another player casted a spell on that player's turn so it won't transform the werewolves with the old text because they don't care who casted the spell, and then because it's not day Tovolar won't transform your old text werewolves on your upkeep.
