That is a great question! With these wheels I could have just used soap and water since they were not that bad and they are ceramic coated. But occasionally its good to hit them with a wheel cleaner that has the iron remover in it. All depends how often you clean your wheels and may vary vehicle to vehicle. Generally I use this wheel/paint decontaminate on every vehicle we get in for a detail to achieve better cleaning results. Better and faster results makes up for the cost. I also use it on the exterior paint to remove iron particles (mostly noticeable on light paint, little orange specs).

The iron buster removes all the small iron particles from your brakes activating and what your wheels pick up from the road. Those particles are corrosive to your wheels and if you dont remove them they will eat your wheels

is iron buster good form removing oxidation from the wheels? I have black wheels and it seems like it has a bit of oxidation, the wheel degreaser im using can't take it off, would iron buster and break buster do the trick ?

More than likely this would not remove the oxidation. I know what your talking about. I have already lightly machine & hand polished the wheels to bring them back to deep black.
