Hi, I would like to see a comparison of the Hohem MIC-01 and this Ulanzi AM18. Which one would you advise, I just purchased a Samsung S21 ultra? Or is there better for this price?

No plans to make a video on that product unfortunately. I can’t really say for sure which one is better as I have not tried the hohem. For a phone perhaps the hohem as it’s more minimal. You can use the umic with a phone but it would be a bulky set up. I use my umic for my action cam and mirrorless camera. I rarely use my phone for video. If I do use my phone, I use ulanzi j12 for the iPhone. There are a lot of great videos out there for the hohem but I believe they are different systems for different use cases.

That’s not what he’s saying your doing right but you didn’t do a test turn first to make sure all settings were correct because it’s only coming out one channel which is more the user errors r and not the mic system. Just do another one down the road short and sweet and simple with the correct set and call it a update on the mic system

It's a mic. The first thing I want is to hear what it's like not hear about it. Far too little sound comparison and no wind muff demo outside.

@@mostlyvsometimesmeI think you might want to redo the demo at 09:20. To me it sounds like the camera mic NOT the Ulanzi. There's tons of echo which you'd NOT get from a lav mic! Sounds terrible and other demos show it to be really good.
