I work roadside assistance and i go through pants like its a sport. Saw an ad for these. Went for the T1s. I'm curious to see how they'll hold up.

I have friends who wear the TrueWerk pants everyday in construction and hard use applications, and they say they hold up really well.

I’ve been wearing the t1’s and t2’s for over two years now framing houses everyday, washing them every week and they still look great. Best work gear ever.

Bought the Vertx Delta LT you’re comparing here. Love the fit for my admittedly beer belly physique. Just received as of 11/29/24 so no real wear experience other than trying them on. I’m 6’1”, 250 lbs. i ordered 42 waist, 30” length. I normally order/wear 32”length pants (olds habits die hard) yet I find with the boots I typically wear (last 10years), 8 eyelets, 10 & 11 eyelets (Doc Martin), there’s a bit of too much length in the 32” pants. That said, I have my height via torso, so I went for 30” lengths and seem to be the better length what little bit I’ve worn them around the house. Not that anyone asked, & I'm throwing this out there for those with beer bellies like me, I get around my pants falling off by wearing suspenders which work for me since my pants waistline wears below my belly. Again, just throwing that out there for the peeps with beer guts

I own a junk removal business. Those truwerks are awesome. They never rip. Pockets are great.

Would you say the T1 is good for farm work ?

I'm slightly disappointed that it seems you didn't wear these during the review process. I have both and personally prefer the Truewerk for my lifestyle. The Vertex has a lot of pockets but they are pockets that I don't use or need. I do like the mag pockets but with those I don't use the regular back pockets. I also don't need to hide a handcuff key in the front zipper or a razor blade in the waistband. Truth is I'm not an operator, just a guy going to work. The downside of the Truewerk T2 is the soft shell material is "swishy" It's a bit annoying when wearing them inside. I do agree with your assessment on the Truewerk being better for outdoors. They are my go to pants for camping and hiking.

I should have tried them on in the video. Sorry about that. Yes, I have noticed the swishy of the Truewerk pants too. Thanks for your feedback.

Are these considered loud? Want to use them for hunting possibly
@provide_protect3 ай бұрын
The TrueWerk has some “swish” to them, but the Vertx do not; they are quiet.

You missed a back pocket feature. There’s an “anti-pickpocket” flap in both back pockets…put your wallet in there, pull the flap over it, and your wallet is protected from falling out, plus makes it virtually pickpocket proof.

You’re exactly right. I’m sorry I didn’t point that out. Thanks!

I don't understand why some dudes put their wallets in the back pocket. It's uncomfortable when you sit on it, and and it's easy for someone to grab your wallet. Wallets belong to front or side pockets.
@provide_protect3 ай бұрын
@@johnsantiago4810 This is true. I usually just take it out of my back pocket, but maybe I should carry it in my front/side pocket. Thanks for the tip.

@@johnsantiago4810If you don't want your wallet occupying a different pocket. If you're only carrying a few cards, you can select a wallet with thin materials, no seams/divided pockets ends up taking more thickness than the cards. Sometimes I'll carry a card wallet in the back.

@@johnsantiago4810 been there done that but not anymore since I bought a Ridge brand card wallet. Carry it in left front pocket along with an Urban Pal dagger. There’s an elastic band on one side that securely holds the paper money. No more leather bi-fold wallets for me. As nice as they used to be, carrying in a hip pocket made for constant chiropractic visits. Others may have better and different ideas
