The best & worst perks to use on The Legion | Dead by Daylight

I have been having fun with an oblivious build on Legion using Nurses Calling, Plaything, Discordance, and Face the Darkness along with the Etched Ruler and Stylish Sunflasses. On Lery's and The Game it's occasionally fun to use. But yeah, it's a meme build and by no means the best Legion can be. Still fun to jump scare people with Legion.

haha it is kinda funny - but the logic is this: gift of pain requires a scourge hook (only 4 on a map) so you won’t be able to proc the perk consistently. furthermore, it’s secondary effect rarely comes into play due to the huge notifications it gives to survivors, telling them that you have the perk - leading to them avoiding healing. sloppy butcher (and legion’s pin add-ons) do not have an inconsistency issue and quite often work out, despite the preferred play style of remaining injured

@@D-Boy22 it doesn't but you still gotta M1 survs to down em (at least most of the times) applying it until they get healed. Yes this does persist after being unhooked.

Thanatophobia is still amazing on Legion with the proper build : You take Thana with nurse calling + Legion's pin + Joey's Mixtape (and Joey skin ofc since you'll use his tape). And there you have it ! A free yet strong Thana build for Legion ... and a bunch of DC incoming !

The hill I will die on is that Sloppy Butcher is by far Legions worst perk. Sloppy Butcher discourages survivors to heal. Healing is such a time waste against Legion so you should want to encourage survivors to heal. Old Thanatophobia and Blood Echo were/are amazing on Legion because they encourage healing. Not to mention Sloppy Butcher doesn’t even get applied when Legion hits someone in Frenzy.

its not bad because being injured is permanent exposed. it reinforces legion's strength. A meme build is echt ruler+sleeping pill with sloppy/nurse calling/monitor/bbq. you can punish survivors for staying injured using echt ruler oblivious but it make you an m1 killer since chaining-hits is not too effective. good build if no one has med-kit/coh, bad build if everyone has med-kit/COH.

The reason Sloppy is nice on Legion is because there will be instances where healing needs to happen in order for survivors to perform an action or play safely, increasing their time to heal buys legion so much time and with the hemorrhage being niche but a nice effect, also survivors will heal against a legion regardless, circle of healing and perks like botany are enough encouragement for the average joe to heal against a Legion

i didn't know about Gearhead. I would like to see a showcase of it in a Game at some point. Also i would put Sloppy Butcher one Tier down just because you could use an Addon and People just dont heal as often anyway.

I can see why lightborn is not the best but I just don´t like being blinded like I really don´t and it still catches some people off guard so I get some hits and downs with it and people wasting time trying to blind safe.

Personally, I use: -Jolt + Pain Res for some slow down -Surveillance to see which gen I need to pressure after I down and hook (plus it completely counters distortion) -Bamboozle to cut chases significantly shorter.

@@000.mp3 I listed 4 perks in my original comment but if you don't want to run Bamoboozle then Corrupt Intervention is always a good perk on Legion. It buys you enough time to frenzy and injure everyone before they can even start on a gen giving you lots of early game pressure. As far as add-ons go, if you want to win then Never Sleep Pills and Mural Sketch. Pills allow you to literally frenzy across the entire map giving you that 5th hit almost every time. Keep in mind you move slower when you activate frenzy with never sleep pills so make sure you are close to the survivor when you begin your frenzy. His iri addons are really good so grab those when you see them in the bloodweb. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask! :)

Gift of Pain with Blood Echo is kinda nice cause if people want to avoid the blood echo and start healing, then they are hit with a penalty to gens, it's a gimmicky slowdown pair that can be fun imo but isn't great

Knight perks on legion imo: Hex face the darkness, situational. Nowhere to hide, can be pretty good. Hubris, uh...why? They should be injured...very niche.

I think Blood Echo isn’t a good as it used to be. Before it was great because how good and common old Dead Hard was. Dead Hard is still really good, but now that it’s less oppressive there is less reason to bring Blood Echo (also Deep Wound hard counters new Dead Hard). And I don’t think Sprint Burst and Lithe are strong enough to warrant bringing it. Also imo Bamboozle is literally just a better version of Crowd Control.

exhaustion perks including sprint burst and lithes are some of the strongest and ive gotten alot of value out of blood echo in my old build and i started using it again, fucks over those perks and helps alot in my chases cuz of how annoying those perks are when i wanna chain hits, so blood echo is still good

I believe grim embrace should have a more rewarding gen block timer from 40 seconds to 1 minute to round it up to make it rewarding that you went for multiple hooks.
