I think I know why the rogue set looks bad. It's because 1) there's not enough red, 2) the mask should have a black effect covering the face of the player and adding the eyes on top, which creates this assassin/scary look. But here they replaced it with only the glow on the eyes. I think that's the main issue.

Thraun you are so right about rogue , I m with you. But I cannot agree with Stillsolo about the shaman's set. They did amazing job. I play shaman almost as my main class and compare to the old T2 Set this one looks amazing well done. Also I would give Warlock T2 into S tier list since the set remaster is really well done. I would also give druid T2 into A tier list for sure.

The warrior Wrath set looks insanely good… whereas the original looks a bit clownish due to the fact that it looks like pajama tops and bottoms with armor on the surrounding pieces, the level of detail and the fact that it looks far more like actual plate really makes it awesome. I really hope that we get recolors of these uprezzed sets at some point.

DH T2 looks like every other "Demon Hunter" themed item ever released in the game, and that saddens me. It's barely distinguishable from the DH class sets from Legion at first glance.

My personal opinion: Top: Paladin, Monk, Death Knight, Warlock, Druid Middle: Rogue, Demon Hunter, Shaman, Priest Bottom: Evoker, Mage, Hunter, Warrior The Hunter set could be much cooler with different colors. Warrior set doesn't feel like a warrior to me.

I love the Judgement Paladin set, don't get me wrong, but my absolute favorite general Paladin set is the Radiant Glory set, the "Normal" raid version coloring in particular. I think I just like that the people I'm saving get to see my face, along with the overall angelic look of the set. I suppose after that, the one that most holistically fits the themes of the expansion and raid it's found in (instead of JUST being good for the class in an isolate sense), would be the "Watch of the Ceaseless Vigil" set in Draenor. It has signs of the light shining through as though it's been imprisoned in raw warlike iron, twisting the light towards bloodshed.

Rogue-Set improvement tip: Giving the Headpiece the same effect the druid got. All blacked out, cant see the face. only red shadowy eyes piercing through our next target. Also having more space in between the top of the headpiece and the bottom of the headpiece thats covering our mouth. atm it looks like it shrinked because of a washmachine accident

I think that they're all faithful to the originals, to the point that if the original wasn't a good set, the update looks funky too. Dragon Stalker was, in my opinion, always a daft looking set, but that's become a charm over the year. I want to get all the sets because they're all cool in a way.

I love that they stuck with the original designs as closely as possible! I do agree the colors can be kinda weird because of that. That mistake they made with the monk’s set color makes me believe there will be recolors though!

I gotta say the Demon Hunter set is atrocious. Monk is frickin amazing. I dont think i'm as hype about the judgement set but it does look good. Priest i think is great and shaman is another atrocious one. As a warlock I do like the warlock one but it doesn't really look any different from the existing set for me. Would've been great if they started doing armour dyes and whatnot so we can customize sets more?

They really made the Evoker set one with a helmet for a focal point… a class that, famously, doesn’t/can’t display helmets when in dragon form. The belt and shoulders are forgettable and completely agree with the F placement, despite my maining them…

Judgement and Wrath are WoW iconic sets. I played warrior waaaay back in the day and rocking full Wrath with a Corrupted Ashbringer made enemies rethink their pants color choices that day. Have the full Jade recolor of Wrath which I can xmog on my DK and likey that set won't get the update because it's from TBC dungeons.

Most of these graphic updates look fantastic! The small details really pop on these sets now and it really makes you appreciate the original designs even more. HOWEVER, the Rogue and Shaman updated versions look so phoned in its just bad! Bloodfang is one of the best hommage sets in the game, and the "update" here looks like they didn't do much at all. It's a simpler set than several of the others, but they could have done more with it. As for the Shaman set, it was already one of the most "meh" of the T2 looks when it originally came out, and these updates to it look like they didn't bother on half of it. Rather unfortunate considering how good many of them look.

I agreed with most of your assessments, couple of the chest pieces were a bit off or in need of 3d texture, and something wow is still behind other games for. With the lock set, instead of smaller shoulders a larger or more flaring Robe especially around the legs would have been better.

Honestly, the Deathknite set looks nice, but I would have loved it if they had just given me an upscaled version of their ICC set. Also, I disagree with you about the shoulders on the shaman set. I'm super sick and tired of the overly gigantic shoulder pieces Blizzard seems obsessed with, they make the whole set look goofy. You're right about the chest plate and the belt, though.

Demon Hunter looks like a dungeon set. There is nothing popping out about it that screams Tier 2. But it did the creative juices and get me to get back into sketching through photoshop. I'm not very good at it, but at least my attempt looks like a proper set, even if it isn't finished. Also.... the Evoker looks miles ahead of the Demon Hunter. It's not even close. DH Gets an G-, that's how bad it is. Evoker is a solid C.

For me, only the hunter set and the warrior set are meh. The color palette for both and the oversized blade on the warrior pauldron are bizarre. I think having the T1 set update for those two would have been a better pick (Giantslayer set and Might set I think ?), but again, you can't skip the T2 paladin and all the other vanilla sets. I agree with Evoker (too much "plate wearer" vibe + half the set disappear while transformed) and for the Demon Hunter... that class really need a lore revamp to update his wardrobe...

Rated sets 1-10 DK - 9.5 (only knocked down because the monk was soo cool) DH - 1 (and i main a DH) Drood - 9 (i dont care for the horns) Evoker - 8 (its bland but cool.. its not DH bad thats for sure) SPYRO Hunter - 8 Mage - 5 Monk - 10 Pally - 8 Priest - 7 Rogue - 7 (would be cooler with better shoulders) Shaman - 2... The wolf shoulders look BADASS.. but the jagged horde symbol is whack.. If they were just wolves with small other detail it could arguably be the best..) Warlock - 9 Warrior - "9"- but ...Color scheme 1.
