About the first puzzle in Amanda The Adventurer 2... it's the most convoluted thing I've ever seen. Ash from GTLive actually solved it on their playthrough and basically the solution is: there's 5 books, 3 of them have initials and a number, one has blank spaces with initials on the start and one has blank spaces and a number at the end, right? The solution to the puzzle is to take the number on the book and then go to the checkout list of the person with the initials to see what book they checked out after to get the next number. So, Greg The Apple 2 has the initials JP at the start of the blanks that correlate to Jonathan Pratt, so you go to check Jonathan's checkout order and the book he checked after was This Is A Pineapple, and when you look inside This Is A Pineapple, it has the number 5 that's gonna be the first number of the combination and the initials MA. Then you go to the checkout page for This Is A Pineapple and see who in the list has the MA initials from the book, in this case Michael Arcadi, so you go to his checkout order and see that the book he checked out after that is Mr Malpractice, which gives the number 0 and the initials DS. But then comes a catch, cause you can't read the barcode of Mr Malpractice, so you look for DS on the This Is A Pineapple page too! Which correlates to Deli Shovel, who leads to the book Am The Person The Are Story, and this book gives the number 1 and the initials CE. So you go to the Am The Person The Are Story checkout page, but then comes a second catch, cause there's two people with the initials CE, Carson Emerson and Chase Emerson, so you check both pages and only one correlates to the last book you have, that being Carson Emerson who checked out Grown Attached, which is the book with the blank spaces and the number 3 at the end, showng this as the final number. And this horribly awful process gives the correct combination of 5013... thanks to GTLive Ash for actually solving this, I completely understand everyone who bruteforced it cause c'mon.
@ShaokanPanda17 күн бұрын
AshGTLive managed to completely breaks down the book puzzle. It took them over an hour, but they actually figured out the code the way it was designed. JP is your clue to start the process. Sam even pointed out that Ash was the only one he saw who worked out the code without just plugging the 4 numbers

I just find it funny that when presented with 2 more than qualified candidates one in their 80s and the other in their 30s the majority of jobs /employers will pick the younger candidate/ deem older people too old to work yet congress seems to think that they're good fits. Like why aren't their term limits for these people. Why can't WE as the regular citizens allowed to vote on that stuff because letting them vote on whether they deserve a raise is bs when we don't have the same luxuries.

9:48 As someone who does like the smiling critters and hate the nightmare it’s for a few reasons. 1. While they are about the same quality as the smiling, they can after so feel like a copy paste. 2. They just feel like DeviantArt OCs especially with the names. 3. Why did there need to be 8 of them? If you’re doing a copy paste of the last games villains at least make there be less. 4. This all just like a way to sell plushies. Oh the smile critters sold very well, then let’s make more. Why 8 when only 2 were explored in chapter 3, because that way we can sell more. Even if that’s not the reason why, that’s what it feels like.

Rye, as a leftist brazilian, I really appreciate the time you take to talk about politics on some of your videos. With the raising of fascism around all the world, it is essential to all of us to oppose against it, even if we have to vote on far from ideal people. Here's on Brazil, we will probably have a similar situation in 2026, since Lula's third term is leaning towards center-right (except on external affairs), but we will probably have to choose between him and Bolsonaro's sucessor. P.S.: Also, whoever is reading this, if you are a leftist, I really encourage you to search for organized groups that defend what you believe, and try join it. It can be an union, a social movement or even a party. Voting is important, but it's necessary to also act between ellections to try to change how things work.

Shipwrecked was so damn good. Like across the board genuinely such a good story. Night mind brought up two major flaws with the story and I’d have to agree, but asides from those it’s so well built. Everything comes at you in a very natural way, and that’s probably what makes it so good imo. It doesn’t feel like “oh I’m going out of my way to break this game” like so many games do. Once you find that one hint, the details related to it are super obvious which makes it easy for you to connect the dots. The hardest thing during my playthrough was actually a single wall and a button. That’s basically it. It’s also so spread out but it doesn’t feel forced that way either. The issue of replayability you mentioned is actually only an issue for me bc I really want more of that game. I won’t be able to reexplore it with the same feelings as before. The initial jumpscare from the dwellers after literally nothing but the surreal environments and lingering threats that just didn’t exist. Overall one of my favourite games in recent memory

Do we need to play Amanda the Adventurer 1 first? I know AtA2 starts immediately after 1, so I'm assuming the original is required for understanding story
@dollyversecreateseA2117 күн бұрын
I don’t think you have to play the first game to know what the basic plot of the series but I would recommend playing the first because it helps understand and recognize deeper meaning and easter egg stuff. So to answer your questions I think it would be better to play the first before the second
@Zecteiro16 күн бұрын
I think it is needed storywise, since you'd be probably confused about the lore without some information from the first game. Now, if you just wanna have some scaries and solve some puzzles, it works pretty imo. But both of them are really good, so it's not like The Witcher series, where the first have an awful gameplay.

I am an anthropology and political science history nerd who absolutely adores talking about government and politics and societal needs. In fact I have a very easy time conversing about politics with my hyper religious dad. But fuck, the election this year has made it difficult because my dad buys into the hyper Christian bullshit and rhetoric. Now, I’m polytheistic and whole heartedly believe all the gods exist (but more in a, we made them not the other way around kinda way). But my dad is super self hate-y and very… self righteous when it comes to Christianity. Anyway, I can’t talk religion anymore with him, and I just give non-answers to weird shit he says. He wholeheartedly believes Christian’s are persecuted in America and that Harris will make them and Jewish people suffer. Like, Jesus fuck. It’s a no win situation, and I miss being comfortable talking about political matters with people. So, TLDR: thank you for making politics comfortable to talk about, and for being so openly political. People don’t realize that they made politics uncomfortable to talk about so that they can get away with whatever shit they want to with no accountability. Stay safe and sane y’all!

6:00 oh my god I LOVE Home Safety Hotline. Markiplier (and I think GTLive) played it and the sheer concept of having these horrifying fucking entities just…chilling, and the government knows about them and is trying to prevent the general public from getting fucked without giving too much away? My favorite part is when some callers are too far gone to save from the entities and ALL YOU CAN DO is tell them to just. Stay calm. I really hope the developer adds on to the universe a bit more because I’m really into specifically creepy hopeless despair stuff like that and the wiki is severely lacking in info. How was the HSH created? Why are YOU hired? What do they do with the bodies of people who fall victim to these creatures??

I personally like poppy playtime but i do dislike how... not foreshadowed the villains are. Like every level we go its a brand new character not shown in other areas. It feels like they have the background story ready and down pat, but the villains? they are just coming up with it as a second thought To me ban ban is games about memeing on and paying tribute to indie horror. Its not ment to be good. its meant to be funny. I kinda like it because of that.
