The fact that Jake possesses the Simon doll and is then put inside of the Stichwraith seems to imply that CC possesses the Fredbear plush, which is then put inside of Golden Freddy. This was something GiBi proposed in his 8 and a half hour video using the Ella doll from the Silver Eyes Trilogy as the evidence so the fact that there are multiple things in the books that point toward this idea feels pretty on the nose. Maybe that explains how two souls possessing one animatronic can actually work, if CC isn't actually possessing the Golden Freddy animatronic. Idk, just something to chew on.

One theory proposed by sire squawks is Frights Fiction, where the books are in universe and meta. The in universe books are cover ups by fazbear entertainment, taking rumours from locals, such as a endoskeleton with a white mask talking to itself (ennard), a tall clown robot bringing people to life and causing suffering(scrap baby). The name of the books suggesting it's the same fazbear that did fazbear's fright, and why it's the fazbear's fright gaurd has trama from his dad, assuming the gaurd is actually Michael. This theory allows for both in universe explanations of what happened before and after FFPS while also explaining certain concepts (such as golden duo) through meta storytelling

One more proof for the "William uses springlocks as a weapon" theory is that he has used springlocks to kill and trap people (or try to) in both the novel trilogy and the movie. Even in the games Circus Baby says this about the springlock suit: "I don’t think it was ever used, at least not the way it was *meant* to be used" implying that it might've been used in another way, other than as a suit/animatronic

For the "This is a clip from a larger podcast" text, I'd recommend putting the name of the podcast episode, or at least the episode number, and a timer showing the current time into the podcast, somewhere on screen. Perhaps in smaller text, perhaps have the episode name or number between the two sentences. And the timer somewhere above or below the text. This way, people won't just know it's a clip from a larger podcast, but will know which podcast episode, and what time the clip is from, so it wouldn't be difficult to search up the larger context.

I’ve never really believed the “books are 100% game cannon” argument purely because FNaF thrives on scraps of information. And while the books don’t tell the whole story, they say far more than scraps. It just seems more thematic for only parts of the books to be true/informative, and it’s up to the fandom to sort through it. Plus, let’s be real, it’s easier to make games where the books are more inspiration rather than ironclad truth.

The red lake stuff fits so well. I had the same idea that it would be weird for a specific description of one kid's death would be weird for the series. However, the red drowning specifically being a callout to springlocking makes so much sense, because that explains aspects of William as well. Been loving the theories recently (I've gotta read these books).
@wasntdeleted9 ай бұрын
I wasnt a lot in the fnaf internet discourse, but I watched a lot of theories, and a lot of people seem to forget that Golden Freddy, in fact, is a springlock suit as well, that is reactive to moisture, thats why I have a couple of theories 1. if we go the FNAF 1-3 thought train, William Afton would be killing children and stuffing them into suits right then and there, which would mean that if he'd try to stuff a leaking blood child in the suddenly there extra 5th one springlock suit (Golden Freddy) it would very obviously snap, dealing far more damage than a stab wound (producing a lot more agony). Before that, crying child head was chewed on in an accident with the same Golden Freddy a little bit before that, which is why the spriglock suits werent used anymore and possibly hidden in the room where William found both of them in the first place, Golden Bonnie and Golden Freddy there would be a soul in the head and a sould in the main body, and the books might be pointing out that nuance 2. if we go new FNAF era thought train, along with supposedly agony-infused post red lake Dreadbear imagery there is also a suspiscious springlocking doll about to cause another accident in the movie, the Fall Fest is happening around the time of the bites (1983 and 1987) and there is a LOT of circus-themed stuff in FNAF World, which was not only at the time alluding to the introduction of Circus Baby to the story, but also had Golden Freddy as a main guidance and lorepoints dropper AND the blood lake drowner (by going too far), which draws a very clear connection between all of those things and tries to push us towards the conclusion of what exactly happened to Golden Freddy the second time, but it seems like there is an another accident happened that we will learn about it in the future more

My thoughts on Agony vs remnant: First of all, agony is an emotion, which there are many. It just so happens that agony is the strongest. For example, Phineas grows a plethora of flowers, and each holds their own emotion, like the passionflower. "He believed flowers were nature's purest vessles of emotion. " So that would mean the opposite of agony is passion. Dark emotion is opposite to light emotion. But what about remnant? Well, remnant is described as "haunted." However, agony is described as NOT haunted, or not exactly. Phineas perfers not to use the word haunted and instead uses the word "energized." So the way I see the relationship between emotion and remnant is that they are different substances, but emotions fuel remnant, where light remnant is fueled by passion and positive emotion, while dark remnant is powered by agony and negative emotion. So i think remnant is memories colored by emotion. It's like in the Pixar movie Inside Out, where memories are colored by emotions. And just like in the movie where pure emotions can pour their emotional energy into a memory to change its color, Jake, being a beacon of positive emotion, can channel his hope into a memory of Grim, the homeless man and inflate the memory like a balloon. And finally to quote William Afton, "The spirit (or the remnants of life) follows the flesh, it would seem, and also the pain (emotion)" This model of emotions and remnant can explain a lot more, like spirit possession, the ball pit, and even faz-goo. If you want me to elaborate, let me know, but this is the gist of my understanding of the relationship between emotion and remnant.

The making of the Stitchwraith is onviously alluding to Frankenstein. Dreadbear is obviously alluding to Frankenstein's Monster. In Help Wanted, there's the game where you have to put a brain into Dreadbear. Crying Child was bitten in the head by Fredbear which was implied to be a Springlock Suit but also might not be. There are other Fredbear suits in Fnaf4, what if the head of the biting Fredbear was put onto the body of a Spring Fredbear suit. A suit that had been used to kill a kid. Both Stitchwraith and Dreadbear seem to have a head/brain being put on/in another body.

About the vengeful spirit being vengeful because they died from springlocks: every instance of Golden Freddy we see is slumped on the ground, which clearly shows that it's in suit mode. Springlock failures happen when the animatronic parts snap back into place, which is why Springtrap (a case of a springlock failure causing death) is fully ambulatory. William may be inside, but the suit is in animatronic mode due to the springlock failure. In order for the vengeful spirit's body to be inside Golden Freddy in suit mode *and* get killed by springlocks, William would have had to cause the failure then redo the springlocks to put it back in suit mode.
@jeremymorris3459 ай бұрын
The Golden Freddy suit is likely stored in Suit Mode. 1. We never see it with an Endoskeleton (post retire), so why would it be in Animatronic Mode. 2. It's easier to wear that way just in case Afton needs to use it. 3. Unlike the other 4, Afton likely had to remove the body and clean the suit, considering the drowning in blood thing. We never see Golden Freddy drenched in blood, so someone had to have cleaned it.

He disassembles the core four animatronics, but not Fredbear. Unlike the other MCI spirits, Cassidy appears in the Safe Room of her own volition. For her to push William into causing his own death and for it to mirror her own is, as movie William would say, "symmetry."

Oh man, I’m so stressed after typing so much but I got an answer and thoughts on John’s question. I think Universal could make a really cool FNAF attraction and the obvious answer would be to recreate the FNAF 3 location (and to some extent my idea will be inspired by it) or the classic FNAF 1 pizzeria but I’m thinking more of a non vr version of FNAF Help Wanted. A mix of multiple moments in FNAF where you complete the tasks of said part of the attraction like vent repairs or I guess guarding from an animatronic for a shortened amount of time (we can also have HW2 mini games or even some adaptation of FFPS tycoon segments.) If you lose, jumpscare, get good, end of the line again (maybe we make the tasks team based for the sake of capacity) and if you win, you move on further into the attrition and learn that all the animatronics were made for this experience except for one that they found and decided to put in for authenticity sake. The Spring Bonnie except not really because it’s the Glitchtrap design since it would be probably be easier to move in it and probably better for accuracy with a budget. Glitchtrap looms around as you complete the further tasks and maybe they’re built with Glitchtrap in mind as a challenge. Don’t know how to end this but I should mention that each task is a different room and you can’t leave without your teammates and you cannot go back to a task unless you’re done and go through the attraction again. The tasks shouldn’t require everyone to participate in case you’re teamed up with strangers who don’t help but it should be a bigger challenge. The Card Game would be cool. I could the world building through the artwork (like Legends of Runeterra) given the artists are given the proper pay, time, direction (and we don’t hire the notorious two.) I don’t think there’s proof but I think that’s why the graphic novels’ artwork is a bit mid. Kind of like Pokemon or the Funko FNAF World game in the sense that, if nothing else, it looks cool. Oh and also, I actively want the card game to be non canon to have everything FNAF related in one place; three Mikes, two Vanessas, and all the Jeremys. Charlie, the Puppet, and Lefty coexisting.

I think that, even if Andrew and Jake are in the games, some of the same lessons still apply. If Andrew is in the games, he's pretty much just who we think might be Cassidy. He'd have died in a similar fashion, so the various Vengeful Spirit - Golden Freddy connections, and the various red lake drownings all apply, just to him instead. If Jake is in the games, he's not the Crying Child, but it doesn't make an argument against the plushies being 'voiced' by William Afton, which the games already implied. It would be a case of a similar thing happening twice. The same with GoldenDuo and StitchlineGames being able to coexist. This would be a little weird, since it would both be Andrew in that situation, but that's where soul splitting and it's effect on memories come into play. At some point, Andrew (or whoever the Vengeful Spirit is) has to get 'into' Afton. This is likely not at the moment of their deaths. So, be it Andrew or Cassidy, whatever happens with Golden Freddy that is not shown in the follow me minigames, but would occur around the same time, ends up with at least part of the Vengeful spirit attaching itself to William Afton. The main argument against Andrew being the other character in the log book is that he claims to not have friends, but the memories he lacks in the stichwraith make him an unreliable narrator. (Heck, how is he even sure his name is actually Andrew).

I’ve always just went with sire squawks interpretation of that the fazbears frights books and the tales from the pizzaplexs are in universe books written by Fazbear entertainment to discard the rumors that had happened and tell a lie to rebrand themselves, that way we can look at them thru the lense of “ok, if this concept exist in the book what rumor or theory could’ve it came from in the games?” And work our way backwards, plus it’d explain why it seems that fazbear frights references are on the arcades everywhere in security breach, could be wrong tho I hope we get a clear cut answer at sum point 😭, love the podcast as always Ryan pookie 😚 Edit: also as an example the entire Eleanor thing could be a spun lie based off the rumor of scrap baby roaming between SL and 6, going around and killing people trying to perform “experiments” on people to make William proud Or, our stich boy was based off Ennard and that he was going around killing people (probably by Elizabeth’s direction) until the MCI got sick of it and split up with her OR OR, whenever the Fnaf 4 bedroom popped up in help wanted people in universe could’ve questioned like why a bedroom and what it was about and thus u get the pizzaplex story where it’s a whole hallucination gas experiment, it’s not meant to prove Fnaf 4 or SL but it’s a twisted lie told by fazbear on what had happened, which would also let illusion discs to be canon still and their own thing that’s still useable TLDR : whenever thinking about Fnaf just think Fnaf 1-UCN, silver eyes trilogy, security logbook, and Freddy files up till UCN as one era of Fnaf then fazbears frights, help wanted - help wanted 2, tales from the pizzaplex, and Freddy files that contain help wanted onward as its own contained era, helps keep sm evidence cleared up mentally And wit the movie, idk take whatever insanity you think out of it, prolly jus the same logic as the silver eyes trilogy where it’s a separate continuity but things can still be canon concepts

@@SchoolNotes-n7x woah buddy calm down it’s ok man. what I’m saying is that CC and Cassidy are both in Golden Freddy. Also, the other two (sorry, I keep forgetting their names) are both inside of the Stitch Wraith. Because they are similar in that aspect I thought maybe it could be showing us what it’s like to have more than one soul stuck in the same suit and by proxy what it was like for CC and Cassidy to share a body.
@SchoolNotes-n7x9 ай бұрын
@@Dr.Silly-xl6tz Yeah I get that , but like CC isnt implied to be in GF. The stitchwraith is artificially put together, Jake and Andrew didnt have a choice. The movie shows Garret (CC) as a wandering spirit and fnaf 3 happiest day further implies Shattervictim.

In the games does more than more than one person die to spring locks?
@Markcrazeer9 ай бұрын
if andrew is in the games, he is not cassidy. the vengeful spirit is not golden freddy. when andrew died he was bound to spring bonnie. when when wiliam died it alklowed andrew to bind to him so they are both springtrap. then when fnaf 6 happened he bound wiliam.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t a hot take but 90% of the Fazbear Frights stories fall into the “it’s so bad it’s good” category and the other 10% are just bad
@chestnut_dude8 ай бұрын
This is just a theory I made, feel free to poke wholes in it. What if the reason there are to designs for springtrap (Scraptrap and Burntrap) is because, the old man the exploded all over the Fazbear Entertainment stuff and that included The Horror Attaction stuff from FNAF 3. And the reason why there are human bits are in it is because they tried to make a replica of the original springtrap that could move. They didn't burn in the fire at the end of the game because they were in a warehouse and Fazbear Entertainment collect the stuff to cover up all existing media about the MCI. Again, it is just a theory, feel free to poke wholes in it, just don't be mean.

In my opinion jake and Andrew have to be Parallels, they fulfil the same roles, same as Edwin and Henry, why would there be 2 characters going through the same story arc, like Henry’s kid edwins kid, Andrew and Cassidy, crying child and Jake
@riskopalfi8019 ай бұрын
Except that Edwin physically can't be a Henry parallel. Why? Because in Tales, the FNaF 6 location gets burned down. Then, in The Storyteller, we see Edwin sitting on the Fazbear board of directors and not once does he mention burning down a building. David is likewise completely different from Charlie. Edwin's wife dies upon giving birth to David, but in the novel trilogy Henry's wife physically leaves him. If Edwin truly is a Henry parallel, why would we have two conflicting versions of events?
@joshuaperry76419 ай бұрын
@@riskopalfi801 A parallel implies similar stories. The comparison about there wives is a parallel wheather Henry and Edwin parallel each other the English word parallel is what is used to describe their wives, both of them don’t have one, that happened while their kid was at a young age, and that young kid died tragically, that’s a parallel. You are misunderstanding the meaning of a parallel, they really really parallel each other, that’s just doesn’t necessarily mean Edwin’s not cannon, it’s just what leads me to think that until we see in the games, bc it would effect so much it wouldn’t make sense to only hear about it now

I like to enjoy Fazbear Frights just kind of… at face value. Spooky little short stories to transport you into this, frankly, very interesting world of FNaF. Though I can totally see why and where the connections to the games for theory crafting come in. I’m just not a theory crafter (usually). Did you have a favourite short that you read? I liked Into the Pit a lot, actually, as basic as it is to name the very first one haha.
