@@Archetype_EDC yeah the plain jane one sold out pretty quick. It's a cool knife that Atlas lock is super fidgety. Very thin knife as well. Can't wait for your review on it I'm sure you'll really dig it. Peace!

I just had to take mine apart for no real reason....two loctited screws prevented full disassembly and I promptly ruined the bearings trying to push them back into place, The good news is that I bought a $10 soldering iron to get it apart and ordered some Skiff bearings for it. Now she's a real beast! My only concern is replacement omega springs if I need them. Apparently they do not exist unless you have a Benchmade 😡

I had a near panic issue myself last night where I nearly stripped out the T8 pivot of a new knife I just got, again because I was overzealous with the loctite. Managed to save it by doing some crazy improvising Anyhow I do believe you can get packs of omega springs of Amazon, but if you want some really higher quality ones with nice high tension, you can buy them direct from Piratechs website. One pack comes with 2 or 3 replacement springs. I bought several a while back so I have omega springs lying around if I ever need them, would recommended 👍

@@lencycler1 Most welcome, you can find them on the accessory part of their website. They dont take to every crossbar model but when you put them in, the level of detent is wild. Alternatively you could try emailing Bestech, Their customer service from my experience is really good. They might send you some replacement springs specifically for the slasher model. Never hurts to try

If u don’t mind me asking where does the stop pin land at? I saw a video by neeves showing there newest crossbar lock and the stop pin lands so close to the blade edge u can’t sharpen the blade.

@@Shifftymking hey, just out now so can’t double check it, but from what I remember it looks like it will be nice and easy to sharpen the entire thing. I’ll have a closer look later and let you know if I notice anything like that, but it should be all good 👍

Yeah it’s a good looking light weight knife I was thinking about it and then I saw ur video for this carbon fiber slasher for $135 and I was like dang I need that. Also I saw on luzthemknives channel where he sent off some bestech Magnacut to be tested and it came back at 63.5 which is amazing hrc. He had I think 3 different models of there mag tested all above 63 that’s so some of the best production Magnacut I’ve seen tested .

@@Shifftymking They keep restocking them on the website so im sure there will be plenty of chances to get at one in the future (cicada wing) Slasher will be gone one day however so yea, with that hrc level thats really something great. Thanks for reminding me of that, I had actually watched that video a while back but had completely forgotten the numbers. Impressive stuff! Really loving it so far and im sure anyone who gets one will also

yea its real nice and a great deal. I want to do some videos on it when im outside in the sun and not in the boring apartment. The handles will look amazing then in the light. Whole lotta magnacut for the price!
