Maybe it’s just me but I don’t like the discourse around the women’s tribute to usher. I think it’s misogynistic to center men in this conversation. Why should those male artist participate?? Why is it an issue that women who are his target audience (as we saw during his residency), have been inspired by usher musically, etc. were given the space to show him how much he impacted them specifically? It’s also implying that the women weren’t good enough so men should have been considered to get the job done.

I have to kindly disagree about Usher's tribute. I thought it was really original to have the ladies serenade him. And I've only seen Usher in concert a few years ago when he headlined the Macy's m music festival in Cincinnati. His microphone was ahf and the performance was extremely lackluster and disappointing.
