This is the hardest video I’ve ever made. For 8 years I waited until I gathered enough strength to tell this story of how Huckleberry was betrayed by his family, the Mcmullen family, together with Gord Macey, Tanya Fusco, Michelle Brew, Claire Talltree, Rakesh Shukla, Amritika Phool, Angela Bratcher Bess, Candy Reme, Carol Vierela, Dee Watters. Darlene Demren, Michelle Shaw and Crystal Donovan, who clubbed together against us to get a sweet, kind-hearted, little puppy destroyed.

He felt I was too Secluded and being kind of Left Out being a Disabled Widow. Thus Started my Joy and Sadness of watching and Sharing Rescues on KZbin and Facebook. I recall You stated that Someday You would Show Proof of What She Did and How Horrible it was, plus You Did Everything in Your Power to Find Him and Retrieve Huckleberry! And Now We Know and Completely Understand! These People are Not Humane nor Anything Respectful! They are Shameful, I’d even call them Psychotic! WHO puts an Innocent Puppy to Sleep because of Revenge? This is Mentally Sick! I’m Heartbroken for All who Knew Huckleberry, he Deserved Better than What They Did! I am sorry to say that can easily happen at the Humane Societies in Canada if nobody adopts them within a short time, or if they are considered unadoptable (temperament). Especially now that the pets that were adopted when people stayed home to work have been discarded when people returned to work.

I've had that happen. My ex and I found out that a boarding kennel where he worked had sent a dog over to our local Humane Society to be killed, because the owner had stopped paying the bill for their dog. I left work and raced over to the HS to try and get her, but by the time I got there, she was already dead. I think my ex even asked his boss is we could just have her or buy her for the price of her boarding bill, but they said no. We were both furious, and he quit. We also named and shamed that kennel.

Oh my goodness. So close to home. I live in Mississauga and lived in Peterborough. My family still lives in there which is about 1.5 hours north east from Mississauga. This is such a heartbreaking story; I don't understand how someone could be so cruel to an innocent small puppy. The shelters should have a couple of days waiting period policy before they euthanize an animal and verify that what the owners say it's true. Whoever did this was more focused on the money, than emphaty for animals. Could they not see that he was a puppy ? The least they could have done, is try to verify if indeed he was dangerous or not. What kind of a vet does this without proof ? They also failed him besides this cruel woman. The only good thing was that she wrote you that letter and admitted the truth, and all the harm she has done. I would leave it up to you and God to forgive her. I could not, if that was the puppy I rescued to give him a better life, only to realize what a fate he had. I hope Huckleberry is in a better place where he lives eternally. My Tree Walker Coonhound is named Huckleberry Hound, but we call him Berry. He's a rescue from our local no kill shelter, and he's one of the sweetest, smartest dogs I've ever had. It's essential that we adopt shelter animals. They're only needing love, exercise and training, food, shelter and vet visits. You get a lifetime friend from it.

I was soooooo heartbroken when I saw this 1st video. I was so pi--ed off!!! When I saw you had added onto the vid, I watched it again, but having to skip through from being so hurt still. The thing is, those people will have to deal with the lies they told (and may still tell), and even in dying, I believe they wanted forgiveness for what they did. And then there are those who are just evil and don't care (I even wondered if I had seen some of those names elsewhere on the internet recently) . By her own admission, she was given full support from the organization, and knew that the puppies could be returned to Let's Adopt, at no cost to herself, if she decided that she didnt want them anymore. I fail completely to see what could have happened to turn her against Let's Adopt, what anyone could have done or said to her to make her start thinking negatively about them. Whatever the reason, sweet, innocent Huckleberry paid the price. I saw the video with Viktor telling Huckleberry's story and reading the letter when it was first uploaded, and I've never forgotten it. The way Huckleberry's life was cut short so maliciously and cruelly left me absolutely heartbroken. I know she apologised, but the fact of the matter is that when Stephanie, egged on by people who had some weird vendetta against Let's Adopt, decided to get revenge on an organisation that had never done her any wrong, she decided to sacrifice the life of a puppy who she knew to be a complete innocent. That will always make her a monster in my eyes.

Regardless of how hard she tries, what she did and without a moments hesitation, changed her life forever. All she had to do was contact you and that would have been the end of it. Why all the drama and heartache for so many. A good lesson for everyone to not get caught up with haters. They are easy to spot, they are always looking for trouble and always looking for more recruits. Walk the other way and leave them to do what they do. In the end they will face what they've done.....
