New linebackers. New linebackers. New linebackers.

I'm glad Jones is working out (we need to resign him) and Knight is fitting in. The weakest position in the 2025 draft class probably is off ball LB/ILB... so we need those two to stay healthy and stick around. Dotson/Baker just weren't the answer... What I notice a lot about Jones/Knight is lateral movement... both are VERY good at it. It's the definition of bend don't break on a run, which is HUGE on a run. Lot of people think 'bend don't break' as it pertains to the pass which gets tagged as 'prevent defense'.. and that can be true, but bend/don't break is a different thing all together on the run. It's the difference between allowing a 3 YPC vs. a 0 YPC but also allowing a 10+ yard run, which is just devastating. You can give up 3 YPC all day long....

Lovin this mass awakening and acknowledgment of Mike's defensive guruness. The controversy, headscratching, and smug "gotchas" over this year's messy linebacker transitions are starting to age badly. The best thing we can do is give this dude the benefit of the doubt and watch him cook. Go Hawks!

I love our Defense I think the players are finally starting to understand what MM is trying to do and the changes at LB is what has made the biggest improvement IMHO.,.... I DO NOT LOVE OUR QB play. Yes I know the O-line is not great but until Grubb forced the issue with the dink and dunk called pass plays he was standing back there like he thought he had all day instead of taking the check down when the coverage dictates it.. Then even by his own admission he needs to clean up his mistakes. He's not even ranked in the top 20 in QBR or Rating he is 23rd or 24th in Red Zone QB rating He has the same TDs in the Red Zone than just released Daniel Jones and More INTs ... He's ranked 24th in the NFL among QBs who have thrown for more than 1000 yds in Rating. Leads the league in INTs 21st in passing TDs... Yet there are people on here who seem to think he is " GREAT " ... We would dominate if we can get someone at the helm that will take the short throws early to set up the deep throws just saying... that said Another great break down of the game love the channel

Hawks won their first playoff game (at home), nothing more.... because if they lost that game the season would have been over. Cards still have a home game vs the Hawks and a much much easier schedule upcoming (they still get to play the Panthers and Patriots, meanwhile Hawks have to play playoff teams). Geno was the worst player on the field and not even by a small margin, the guy took 2 sacks to lose 2 fg attempts, threw an endzone pic.... multiple plays where the O-line gave him 10 seconds to pitch a tent and the guy refused to run for the first down and threw it into coverage (directly responsible for the loss of more points than he scored). The score should have been 30-3 or 36-3 if it wasn't for Geno blunders. Geno is discount Aaron Rodgers (and not prime 2013 Packers Rodgers but old man Jets Rodgers), a pocket passer that makes a handful of good plays and a bunch of bad plays..... a completely mid player. Nothing more nothing less. If you need an all-star team around you to win, that means you are actually bad.... a good QB makes everyone around him better into actual all-stars.... and in that game the entire team was better than Geno and carried him to a win.

@@yeomanadventures1549 Hawks aren't in first place... typical fan copium. Tie breakers are conference (same record) and divisional record (Arizona is 2-1 vs Hawks 2-2) and so Cards are in first place with the same 6-5 record. Then if necessary is strength of schedule, also in the Cards favor (Hawks beat their easy wins already, Cards have yet to play the Panthers and Patriots) in fact if the season ended today the Hawks would miss the playoffs.
