It's simply because they didn't last long together: barely 2 full years in AWA (mid 89 to early 91), then barely 2 years in WWF (mid 91 to mid 93), barely 7-8 months in WCW (1998)....what immortalized them is their big tag team titles match at Summerslam 1992 at Wembley Stadium, by far the biggest accomplishment of their career.
@cartoonworld10008 жыл бұрын
This song is straight funky, I first heard it at royal rumble 1993, I've been watching the early seasons of Raw because I started watching in 1998/9 and missed those episodes. It felt good that I knew most of these wrestlers, there was only a handful of obscure ones I haven't heard of before, but that made me watching the episodes back even better.
@JasonL779 жыл бұрын
I met Beau (The one without the mustache) in Minnesota a few months ago. He told me that he would always look after Undertaker when Taker would get drunk. Taker would spend all night drinking Jack Daniels (He loves Jack Daniels) and would show up to the arena and say something like "Oh shit! I forgot my wrestling gear in (for example) Dallas!" Beau would say "Don't worry, I got for you." He would then go out to his car and grab Undertaker's wrestling gear. I don't know how true it is, but it's a good story.
@Immorpher6 жыл бұрын
Probably true; Paul Bearer said that during that time he called the Undertaker, "Party Taker" because he would be partying and getting drunk all of the time back then.

These guys had quite a unique finishing move, called the "Shaker Heights Spike". It was quite interesting to watch. They had one chance at Tag Team gold at Summerslam 1992, and I actually thought they were going to win. How foolish it was of me to bet against The Natural Disasters lol

They were a great team it's just a shame that they had that unfortunate botch with the Shaker heights spike on an episode of superstars in early 93 because I think that definitely played a part in them getting released, even though if you really watch it it wasn't exactly their fault that guy didn't know how to take it, but with Vince having just settled the Chad Austin lawsuit, I don't think he wanted to take any more chances with any tag teams that did finishers like that.
