He knew and wanted Beyonce to leave the group to start her solo career. This was his plan even when Beyonce was a child. Her father used the group to help her elevate. They made it to where there was no room for other women to fully shine. There is a reason why Bey and even Rihanna continued to dominate for so long.

I'm just mad I cannot find the "Turnin' Me On" remix anywhere. I liked it better than the original. Idk why Polow Da Don told her to diss Bey and Ciara, let alone anyone. This was mid-2000s, when Bey was solo with her two best albums out and Ciara was just coming out, so why would they be "fading" and need to go have babies? Sometimes people refuse to face facts, Kerry was never going to be a super star, while her music was borderline pop it was mostly R n B. R n B don't cross over like that. Beyonce had the benefit of being in or coming from what was at the time the most successful female group in music, so she inherited DC fan base which included the non black demography; which are the prime buyers of music, they are employed after all. Kerry ditched her early producers like Tim, to persue that urban hood fabulous sound. She self destructed , and, not to mention seem to be too busy chasing athletes or high profile rappers, in other words, she ignored the music, and the she left the scene. I'm sorry, but fans don't wait around for you like that, once you hook em you have to bring them on a journey, allowing them to grow with you, that's why it's called a fan base, she got some fans but never built a base. Quit blaming every artist downfall on either Beyonce or Jay-Z.
