So I'm sure she'll drop some music next year. She has a 90s R&B soul in her. She might not big as Adele or Dua Lipa since there both from the UK. But let's not write her off cause she's has a lot of growing and learning to do.

I loved “Didn’t Say”, “Not Another Love Song”, and “How” from her second album. But I’m never obsessed with artists trying to crank out hits just for the sake of it, as the author alluded to. I just never want talented people to stop making music even if it’s only when they have something to say. When you have a strong enough fanbase and enough music, you can still sell out shows. And yea, Ella is here to make music and stay out the way. I’m not mad at that, either.

The problem is the white pop star can be oversaturated with paint by numbers girls. Black r&b artists unfortunately as talented as they are doesnt have that luxury. She took to long to release her 2nd album and didn’t keep momentum going. Sza released ctrl in 2016 and took years to release sos but she was featuring on other popular artists songs & interacted with people building a fan base on social media. She also released singles from sos and promoted them well and made the era last long. Ella and her team had a great rise but she took her foot off the peddle when she could’ve continued to ride the wave. She still however did accomplish great things with her first album that other artists dream of accomplishing so still kudos to her!

Honestly she's not the problem, it's just that people consume music differently now and people lose interest so quickly. I feel like she can pop again but if it happens is to be seen.
