The King James Bible stands! Amen! The KJV Bible indeed in the nearest translation to the original Bible. The other bibles are corrupt and changes the meaning and whatnot. Love their voices. Let the glory and honor be unto God :)

There's no big deal about it except your implication that Christians who disagree with you about it being the only acceptable version are wrong, sinning, not right with God, and in many cases, unsaved and on their way to hell.

Yes! The original version, that is the King James Bible. My mom compared it to New King James and one word is changed. For instance, Genesis 2:7. KJV - soul. NKJV - living being.

I believe that the KJV-only movement applies to native English speakers, as it is one of the original English translations from Greek (New Testament) and Hebrew (Old Testament). You bring up a great point about the issue of determining the most accurate translation for other languages.

I think they're just sharing their preference of the KJV. I'm sure they mean what the song says that the BIBLE, as in God's Holy Word, stands no matter. Don't assume they're haters on all other versions and all other languages without asking them first. Phew! People get so touchy! I happen to adore the KJV, as a person with English as my first language. I grew up on it so it's hard not to love it. However, in recent years I have also enjoyed the ESV very much as well. I would sing this song the way they did for kicks in a Church where I knew people felt the same way, or where people at least knew that the majority of the Church preferred KJV. I really have a hard time believing that they sung it this way to intentionally hurt anyone or intentionally exclude anyone. But, all of that aside, the KJV IS a very good translation. There are errors in ALL of the translations. There is no way to translate the Hebrew of the OT word for word into old english or modern english. It just wouldn't work out right. So there will always be something missing, so to speak, but if God didn't approve of His children using the KJV, He would have made sure it was wiped off this planet centuries ago, don't you think?

Why would you enter that into the song otherwise? I have been around to many of these circles to not believe they are saying that the KJV is the only word of Hod for English speeders which is dead wrong

They don't think it's a mere preference (though that's all it is), they are implying that the other translations are wrong and sinful to use, and that every single modern translation, including the NKJV is corrupt. They believe the same as Peter Ruckman, Jack Hyles, and everyone in the legalistic Independent Fundamental Baptist movement. I do think they did this to say no English speaking Christian should use any version but the King James 1611 Authorized Version, as like-minded people as them may put it. I hate KJV Onlyism. I'm not against the KJV itself, but I am against people like this, making an idol out of it, and implying you're not right with God if you don't use it to the exclusion of all other english translations.
