51:05 Exactly right! College football fans span the nation! Here in Boise, ID the majority cheer for BSU, in Pocatello they cheer for Idaho State, up north they cheer for UofIdaho. Yes some SEC fans live here too but so do BYU & UofU fans. My brother in Missoula, Montana attends the Grizzly’s football games because they are winners too! At some point stealing recognition from every part of the country except the SEC causes resentment in the national college football fan base!

The thing I don't like about all this is the position the BIG 12 is in... In saying that the BIG12 put themselves in this position... Look at the teams in the race all three teams were picked last in the BIG 12??? The BIG 12 has to be better and I hope this is a one of a kind type of years!!! Imagine if Utah, Oklahoma State and Kansas, Kansas State all lived up to expatiation BYU, Colorado and Arizona State would have been the frosting on the cake????

0:24 I think the best teams will be in the playoffs. What matters is what they do on the football field. What we see right now is NOT how the actual playoffs will look like. We still have 2 weeks of games and conference championships to go before the final field of playoff teams is announced. My take: IF BYU were to win out BYU would have at least 3 current top 25 wins. IF BSU wins out BSU will have 1 top 25 win. The problem for BYU is they have yet to win 2 of those 3 games. Both BYU & BSU have already won 1 but BYU’s is ranked higher. Kansas could be a spoiler for Colorado but I doubt it. Whoever wins the Big12 will be in the playoffs and will represent our conference well (we hope). GO BYU COUGS & GO BIG12! May the best team win! If my team loses to a better BIG12 team I want that team to win in the playoffs!

Boise State is really good this year. I don’t see a legitimate argument to the contrary. If it’s just a concern over this year, the Big 12 shouldn’t sweat it. If there’s a serious concern over this being a risk year in and year out, just add them to the dang league already. They probably don’t bring the dollars but the opportunity cost is worth it. Plus, they would be freaking fun to have in the league. A Big 12 game on the blue would be amazing.

Well you can argue for SMU in that they have looked better lately, and SMU's only loss was a close one to a good team early in the year and they have done nothing but look better and better since. BYU would have lost to Utah the week before had it not been for a controversial call. And BYU would have lost the week before that to another bad team if not for some heroics. Also, they lost at home to a much worse team than SMU lost to at home and by a closer game. I think I remember all these big 12 people saying the Big 12 should not invite SMU, that they were not worthy of the big 12. Who is laughing now that they are ranked higher than any Big 12 team.

Not a KU fan, but I don't want to be blaming those guys for anything. Those are very good football players and things weren't working for them at the beginning of the year although they were in pretty much every game. They've hit their stride now and it's BYU and Colorado's job as the conference leaders to beat them. When BYU loses to KU, it's not KU's fault.

The big 12’s only chance for the bye is BYU to win out their games the committee have already shown you who or what they value you’re not jumping Boise State if they go and win the rest of their games. No two or three loss big 12 team is going to jump a one loss Boise State conference champion get that through your head.

the real question is if BYU will win out, I think we've watched them the last couple weeks have not looked great, it's not hard to see them losing to Arizona State does a two loss Colorado get ranked over Boise? no, Colorado's only quality win would be Arizona State in the scenario compared to Boise State's resume it's very weak.

The Big 12 champion will be ranked ahead of Boise. I guarantee it. Doesn't matter how everything plays out... it will happen. BYU wins out? They'll be ahead of Boise. They'd be ahead of Boise next week after beating Arizona St. Colorado wins out? They're jumping Boise. Iowa St would jump Boise. Arizona St would jump Boise. The only possible way it doesn't happen is the extremely unlikely outcome where the Big 12 champion has 3 or 4 losses.
